I want to start off by saying I am on this site to try to meet a positive connection and a best friends. I have come to believe that any great relationship starts with a great friendship. I am not eagerly searching for someone as it will happen when it is meant to be! I realized it is best to just be up front on here, no hiding! I do smoke herb and cigarettes...cigarettes I am all ways trying to quit but I do indulge. I am a social drinker and I like to get out, be social, dance and check out bands and the excitement around town but in moderation. For the most part my time is dedicated to my kids, work, school and art but I do like to be actively social and to experience what I can when I can. Life is too short not to, live it up when at all possible! I want to explore more of what the Okanagan has to offer, hiking, beaches and camping. I would be so nice to meet some one cool to just chill at the beach with or to explore with. I find this site is hard in the way that It seems to be one extreme or another. There is the men that are in love after the first date and become attached right away, which is scary or men who just want to hook up or have no connection other than physical. I am looking for the in between. Something real..! I am a hopeless romantic and I do believe in love at first sight. I believe one should never settle, to follow your intuition and heart because they are all ways right. I believe when we meet our ever after if we are lucky enough to find them, that we will know with out a doubt that it is meant to be. That mutual love energy is the strongest bond there is and it would be wonderful to find that. We are all seeking that special some one, the problem is that people settle or commit there whole lives to living but do not really live or do not listen to their inner voice. Like those moments when you connect eyes with some random person.. feel something but do nothing about it. If we do not put our selves out there and listen to our intuition then we are not fulfilling our spirit or possibly missing out on an important message from the universe. To be blunt, I am attracted motivated, determined and spiritual people. who has drive, talent and follows there passions and dreams. I rarely watch tv other than the odd good movie.... so if that is how you spend most of your spare time we may not be compatible. If your world is wrapped up in material things, electronics and technology we would have very little in common. Material items do not appeal to me as much as a beautiful spirit, I find people hide behind there material items like a mask. I am more interested in what is in the inside and in ones mind! Physical characteristics do matter in the way that the attraction has to be there...that first impression. Everyone has in their mind of what a ideal partner would look like..that image of that dream somebody that stays with you your whole life. I believe there is a reason for that...being attracted to specific characteristics stem from more than just preference, it is soul searching. Kind intentions,Namaste This would vary depending on the person, weather, day........it is better to decide together I think! There are so many options for a first date:)

i am not here for a hook up, so don't bother.#1 i have a 3 and a half year old girl. She is with me half the week. She is my world#2 I love all music. Literally everything. Country, metal, top 40, classic rock, swing, classical#3 I love sports. i have major issues with Sox, Packers and Yankees fans. I literally love everything - UFC, any racing at all (drag, nascar, etc), soccer, x-games. I really like it all. #4 I work too hard sometimes. ***I love dancing, I do it drunk or sober, to almost any kind of music. I like to think that in a different life I would have done it for more than the just the pure joy it gives me. Like maybe I'd be a famous ballerina or maybe I'd be a non famous back-up dancer for someone famous. I love karaoke. I like video games, reading, and almost all forms of art. I enjoy trying new things, and laughing at myself when I prove I am a total n00b, lol. I like to do things myself. I love road trips, even long ones by myself. Sometimes I can be extremely complex and at others, extremely simple. I am currently looking for an apartment. I just celebrated my year anniversary with my current job. I only have a semi-plan for my career path at the moment, right now I figure I'll hang out and see what happens. Most of the time right now I sit around and play video games, and go on road trips. I have quite a bit of family and it is very important to me to visit them often. I have been halfheartedly looking for a gym in the area. I am just scared I won't like them so I haven't committed to anything. I am a self proclaimed "fat girl" and I am not trying to lose weight. I do however; believe that exercise is an important part of being healthy. I also have strong opinions on food. I have strong opinions about lots of things, lol. I have a very strong work ethic and my job consumes a lot of my thoughts. I exaggerate quite often when I am speaking. I have been told its very dramatic, which I suppose is my intention. I like sharks and I really really really want a dog.Update ***I thought I might want to do a little update since I started this profile last year. I still live with my mother, because well... she's as good a roommate as any. I still am trying to get the financial part of my life into a better position, since leaving IL and coming back to MT meant I had to take a large pay cut. I have already picked out an apartment, its just a matter of reaching that goal. I like my job and plan on staying there for a long time. I work a lot at times, depending on what is going on there. I have been known to put in as much as 80 hours in a week. And yes, when this happens I am very tired and don't want to do much outside of work. I am on call ***. I have a crew that I am responsible for and I take that responsibility very seriously. I did find a gym I like and have recently joined it. This is very exciting for me. :) Getting back into Yoga, Tai Chi, Cycling and Swimming is something I've really been wanting to do. I still don't have a dog, and it doesn't look like I will be getting one anytime soon, since I rescued a kitten. I don't have the time for any more pets, even though if I wouldn't feel irresponsible I would have many many more. I try to go out once a week for karaoke. I have a standing date every other week to hang out with my dad. I am very busy, but I don't think this means I can't date. It just means I'm not able to be very spontaneous. :) I have met a few people on this site. Some of them have become great friends, some of them not. I still have hope.Update ***I am currently in the market to purchase my first home.I got a puppy. I just want to find someone that "gets" me. Food? Walk? Ice Cream? COFFEE!!
