Sometimes we meet people in our lives that God may not have intended for us. We have our share of good encounters and bad ones....each tested who we are, who we've become and who we want to be. At the end of the day I think that Ive been lucky to meet both. I've had the best people enter my life and I've had the worst. I've had people who have lifted my spirit so high and made me learn so much, enriched my life in ways they will never know and made me grateful to be alive. I've had the worst people enter and leave my life who broke me down, made me question my self worth, and tested me to see how strong and how much i could really take. I've been in love and I've fallen out of it. I've had my heart opened and broken. I've given too much and gotten too little, but I've also gotten so much from both of those. Sometimes its the people in your life who hurt you who actually help your inner YOU more than you know. It's when someone pushes you to the edge....when they make you wanna jump...when they make you feel like you have no options...that you get the strength... I've been on that edge of a hopeless cliff. I've had all my emotional baggage strapped to my back....so heavy and about to tip me over...and it is at that moment...that i chose to jump..... and do you know what happened? I flew.... I let go, I was FREE. I jumped from that ledge of insecurity, of false promises, of endless tears and unbearable grief, of misery and denial, and I left that girl behind. I left everything that I thought was comfort and realized there was more beyond the horizon...just past that cliff's edge....to a place that was not known....and not secure....and away from all I thought was real.....and I soared. And I've never looked back So sometimes we meet people who push us to that limit....because God wanted us to learn that life is all about risks....and it requires you to jump. Dont be the person who always has to think "what if" ..... take a stand, a stand for yourself....for all you are and all you ever wanted to be...let go of what holds you down, what hurts you...what makes you think you cannot FLY..... AND JUST JUMP...... Can't say I've ever went out on dates it's been a while so u will have to be creative! Something comfortable please!

    I want to start off by saying I am on this site to try to meet a positive connection and a best friends. I have come to believe that any great relationship starts with a great friendship. Life is too short not to, live it up when at all possible! I want to explore more of what the Okanagan has to offer, hiking, beaches and camping. I would be so nice to meet some one cool to just chill at the beach with or to explore with. I find this site is hard in the way that It seems to be one extreme or another. There is the men that are in love after the first date and become attached right away, which is scary or men who just want to hook up or have no connection other than physical. I am looking for the in between. Something real..! I am a hopeless romantic and I do believe in love at first sight. I believe one should never settle, to follow your intuition and heart because they are all ways right. I believe when we meet our ever after if we are lucky enough to find them, that we will know with out a doubt that it is meant to be. That mutual love energy is the strongest bond there is and it would be wonderful to find that. We are all seeking that special some one, the problem is that people settle or commit there whole lives to living but do not really live or do not listen to their inner voice. Like those moments when you connect eyes with some random person.. feel something but do nothing about it. If we do not put our selves out there and listen to our intuition then we are not fulfilling our spirit or possibly missing out on an important message from the universe. To be blunt, I am attracted motivated, determined and spiritual people. who has drive, talent and follows there passions and dreams. I rarely watch tv other than the odd good movie.... so if that is how you spend most of your spare time we may not be compatible. If your world is wrapped up in material things, electronics and technology we would have very little in common. Material items do not appeal to me as much as a beautiful spirit, I find people hide behind there material items like a mask. I am more interested in what is in the inside and in ones mind! Physical characteristics do matter in the way that the attraction has to be there...that first impression. Everyone has in their mind of what a ideal partner would look like..that image of that dream somebody that stays with you your whole life. I believe there is a reason for that...being attracted to specific characteristics stem from more than just preference, it is soul searching. Kind intentions,Namaste This would vary depending on the person, weather, day........it is better to decide together I think! There are so many options for a first date:)
