About Me

Hi everyone. I have been married once and have no children. I am a successful, career oriented female looking to start a new journey. I am a big and beautiful woman that enjoys traveling, having fun, and staying on the go. I have recently changed my lifestyle to create a better work / life balance that incorporates a healthy lifestyle. I always tend to see the glass as half full…so no challenge is too big to tackle! While I do believe physical attraction is important, I also tend to see deeper for a partner’s qualities and hope that you can as well. Look forward to talking with you! My ideal first date would consist of drinks and conversation. Let’s get a chance to know one another and see if there is any chemistry. If we both feel it, we can take it a step further. Maybe a nice dinner and then some live music or a comedy club. I know…I know…. its clique, but maybe catching a movie would be nice as well. I am easy going and tend to go with the flow while having fun. I’m willing to do anything once!

Hi! I call myself a goofball masquerading as a serious person! In public I’m serious, smart, and slightly sarcastic. My humor is very dry and dark but my true friends know that under all that is my inner goofball! I will randomly bust out dancing to the music in my head, I love to crank the music in the car and dance if a favorite song comes on (and I stay awake on road trips by having a dance party in the car)! That "pick one word to describe your personality" was difficult! I was torn between animal lover, chef, crafty and professional in addition the intellectual choice I went with...I'm not really a person who fits in a box well!I'm content to hang out at home and catch up on movies or the DVR, or to hit the town! I LOVE to dance (started dancing at age 2). For the most part I tend to avoid the club scene as I feel like I've outgrown it BUT, on occasion, it's fun to head to a crowded dance club and just be silly. Ultimately the goal is to go out and have a good time. I have a really stressful job but I love it and I've learned an important lesson, make the most of every moment, focus on the good and keep moving forward. Savoring the small things is a skill I'm glad I've learned!-written ones), laugh with friends, and just do things that make me happy...be it taking time to clean the house, randomly paint a new picture, go take some fun pictures, hit the lake for canoeing or just relax at home doing nothing! Here's what I'm looking for in a relationship: Something casual that may develop into more. Someone honest, funny, and respectful. A man who appreciates me and the things I do. A great sense of humor but knows how to be serious. Good conversation but comfortable silences. Yes, I know, I ask a lot but I consider myself to be pretty awesome and totally worth it! First dates can be nerve wracking and I’m a bit non-traditional. No fancy restaurants, something low key with great atmosphere and phenomenal food. I’m a big fan of locally owned “hole in the wall” restaurants; I tend to avoid chain restaurants. First dates must include great conversation and plenty of laughing! Dinner is not a necessity…a first date could be something fun like miniature golf, canoeing on a lake, playing pool, grabbing a drink or just meeting for coffee and seeing where the date leads. Of course, there are also things like going to the aquarium or local museum for a great exhibit!

I never know quite what to say on these, but here goes....I squeeze everything I can out of life. I enjoy the good things in life and appreciate that bad things will happen. I love to have fun, try out new things to do, eat, see, love, etc. I love to be outdoors. I strive to be healthy. I play volleyball a lot. I also do often or have done disc golf, tennis, football, hiking, kayaking, etc. I really really want to learn to rock climb and snow board! I would love to do this all with my best friend.I have tons of fun playing games (board games, card games). Family is very important to me and I try to share my love for family and friends in many ways and all of the time.God is so important in my life and I would love to share that with my man.I prefer to hang out with a big group of friends and play games, but I can go to a bar and have fun, especially in a big group of friends or family.I like to be woo'd (definition: I like to be taken out on a date, treated like a woman, chilvary goes far, etc) ;-)I'm a bit old fashioned, but I've also been single a while so I understand give and take.I've had a successful career in auditing for over 9 years now. I'm independent and take care of myself pretty well I think ;-)I want a guy that mans up when needed, but appreciates the woman he's with. He's open, honest and caring (cliche I know). Humor is a big point value, active but not obsessed with health. For a long term relationship I need a man who loves family and God.Some goals I have planned for in life right now is to get healthier, buy a house, and become a manager in my career.Well....I guess that is good enough for now. *** you want to know more and want to chat.xoRach The perfect date for me would be somewhere we can talk and get to know each other while at the same time having something to do or distract so the awkward silences are at a minimum...hehehe The most perfect date I have ever been on was with a guy I wasn't even interested in. He took me to his job (he found out last minute he had to work) at a golf course and we rode around on a golf cart moving around sprinklers, talking and watching the sunset.
