I want to start off by saying I am on this site to try to meet a positive connection and a best friends. I have come to believe that any great relationship starts with a great friendship. I am not eagerly searching for someone as it will happen when it is meant to be! I realized it is best to just be up front on here, no hiding! I do smoke herb and cigarettes...cigarettes I am all ways trying to quit but I do indulge. I am a social drinker and I like to get out, be social, dance and check out bands and the excitement around town but in moderation. For the most part my time is dedicated to my kids, work, school and art but I do like to be actively social and to experience what I can when I can. Life is too short not to, live it up when at all possible! I want to explore more of what the Okanagan has to offer, hiking, beaches and camping. I would be so nice to meet some one cool to just chill at the beach with or to explore with. I find this site is hard in the way that It seems to be one extreme or another. There is the men that are in love after the first date and become attached right away, which is scary or men who just want to hook up or have no connection other than physical. I am looking for the in between. Something real..! I am a hopeless romantic and I do believe in love at first sight. I believe one should never settle, to follow your intuition and heart because they are all ways right. I believe when we meet our ever after if we are lucky enough to find them, that we will know with out a doubt that it is meant to be. That mutual love energy is the strongest bond there is and it would be wonderful to find that. We are all seeking that special some one, the problem is that people settle or commit there whole lives to living but do not really live or do not listen to their inner voice. Like those moments when you connect eyes with some random person.. feel something but do nothing about it. If we do not put our selves out there and listen to our intuition then we are not fulfilling our spirit or possibly missing out on an important message from the universe. To be blunt, I am attracted motivated, determined and spiritual people. who has drive, talent and follows there passions and dreams. I rarely watch tv other than the odd good movie.... so if that is how you spend most of your spare time we may not be compatible. If your world is wrapped up in material things, electronics and technology we would have very little in common. Material items do not appeal to me as much as a beautiful spirit, I find people hide behind there material items like a mask. I am more interested in what is in the inside and in ones mind! Physical characteristics do matter in the way that the attraction has to be there...that first impression. Everyone has in their mind of what a ideal partner would look like..that image of that dream somebody that stays with you your whole life. I believe there is a reason for that...being attracted to specific characteristics stem from more than just preference, it is soul searching. Kind intentions,Namaste This would vary depending on the person, weather, day........it is better to decide together I think! There are so many options for a first date:)

Fairly new to the area...just started my new job yay! Tired of guys who say they want something real but never prove it. Lots of guys like to claim they are different not many have proven that. Don't get me wrong I always give people the benefit of the doubt but I can smell bulls**t and won't put up with it. My kids dad is very involved in their lives so keep that in mind. Also it seems I need to let it be known race is not an issue lol gets tiring to be asked if I date outside my race. The answer is yes if you are a good guy. My kids come first always. Very laid back more of a homebody. Prefer to cuddle at home than go to a club. Enjoy some outdoor things but keep in mind I am a klutz lol. Like to believe I have a great sense of humor know I am compassionate and can be a dork at times lol. If we meet it will be slow cause of my kids so please be patient. Really what I would love is something more intimate than a movie or going to a club or bar. Dinner would be nice then just some time to hang out, talk and get to know each other. I am not a high maintenance date lol I don't expect the best of the best I am more interested in the company rather than the location.
