What to say about me?Well.. the most important part of my life is my beautiful daughter. She's absolutely amazing, involved in everything and keeps me going. Whether it be basketball, fishing, karate (she's a black belt), etc... she loves it and I love watching it. She's the most awesome kid and as long as she's happy, the world is good.My job also keeps me busy. I run a pretty busy restaurant and spend a good deal of time there. I enjoy it, mostly because of the people I get to work with everyday. My crew is great and there are rarely dull moments. I also have a small company of my own that started out as a hobby and is slowly growing, specializing in event planning, decorating, bridal consulting and some photography... it's lots of fun.For fun, you can find me doing all kinds of things. I like sports of all kinds, theatre, movies, going out with friends, etc. I love to stay active and busy and to see as much as I can. I love to travel and take day trips to explore new places. My friends and family are very important people in my life and I wouldn't trade them for the world. They keep me sane and out of trouble.My ideal match? Well, I want to meet someone different from the people I tend to find. That's probably the biggest reason I decided to try this route. Being as busy as I am and keeping the schedule I keep makes it hard to meet people. I want to find someone who can be my best friend first of all and who is serious about what they want too. I want to be able to connect with someone and be able to have great conversations and laugh... Definitely someone who can understand some of the funny things I get in to and keep a good sense of humor about it... I am strongly against games and am really not interested in "flings" or meaningless wastes of time. Not to be blunt or seem snobbish (can't put the "b" word in here) but, I can find those things without using the net. I'm a busy person who came here to find something better and someone looking for the same kind of thing. I'm also completely without hang ups on the past or drama. I took my time to get to a point where I could confidently say I was "ready" to keep an open mind about finding "the right one" again... hopefully you are too... We'll see...

Hi, I'm Shortstuff...for all you guys fishing for the right girl, cast your reel my way! If you can catch my attention, then maybe we can swim together :)I like to keep active - Been playing Ultimate Frisbee for about 4 years, and go to the gym regularly. I like trying different sports...whether I'm good at it or not - lol! I recently tried softball. I had a lot of fun...endured a couple of small injuries...and learned to drink beer.(Truthfully, I'm more of a vodka girl but I finally get the appeal of a nice cold beer on a hot summer day - ha!) all in all it was a pretty good season! I enjoy my job, its both creative and business oriented so I get the best of both worlds. I love dancing, I'm adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, and enjoy the occassional show (standup comedy, musical theatre, live band etc) I'm lucky to have a network of great friends...Afterall, they're the family that you chose. Having said that,I'm very close with my actual family. Family is very important!I'm Looking to hang out with someone and see if there is any chemistry worth pursuing. I think laughter is key! If you can find someone who makes you smile and who you can laugh with, well that's a pretty good start. I think its important to go somewhere you can talk and hear what the other person has to say. It should be somewhere comfortable for both people. When the weather gets cooler, maybe a cute little coffee shop where we could sit by the fire place and talk over a nice warm latte.
