About Me

My children come first. I tend to lean more on the sarcastic side. I have a pretty good sense of humor and am often told I am funny. My relationships with my family and my friends are very important to me. I have a very active life. I workout everyday. I find honesty to be very important so I'll be very honest ~ if you do not live an active life, if you do not workout, and are not fit then I'm not interested. Ive been involved with people that were not these things and it doesn't work... With this lifestyle you have to have a certain type of respect and support for each other! Between work, kids, workingout and homelife I stay busy but am able to maintain a good balance. When i have my children we spend lots of time doing fun things, visiting parks, playing sports, movies, drive in movies etc. When my kids are with their dad I love to country dance, a good patio, going to concerts, movies, playing any kind of sport, pretty much anything active and outside but also really enjoy the occasional snuggling up with my dog on my couch in the quiet house and watching movies! * There really should be an option between not looking for anything serious and looking for a relationship! I'm open to dating and the idea of it becoming more but saying you are just wanting to date sounds a little trashy and saying you're looking to get married sounds creepy sooooo I'm looking to make friends and eventually when the time and person are right it will become more! * Do not message me if you fall into these category's.: - No I do not want to hook up - if you are married I'm not interested - no I am not interested in having a thing with couples - I know age is just a number but let's be reasonable (this not only goes for younger than me but older too***is EXTREMELY TOO YOUNG and 61 IS OLDER THAN MY FATHER.... Clearly 97% of people on this site don't know the true meaning of "fit".... A beer gut does not qualify! Anything active! Sporting events, top golf, even working out! Personally I don't think a movie is a good first date because you are sitting in silence for two hours... Can't get to know someone like that!

    Hi, I'm Shortstuff...for all you guys fishing for the right girl, cast your reel my way! If you can catch my attention, then maybe we can swim together :)I like to keep active - Been playing Ultimate Frisbee for about 4 years, and go to the gym regularly. I like trying different sports...whether I'm good at it or not - lol! I recently tried softball. I had a lot of fun...endured a couple of small injuries...and learned to drink beer.(Truthfully, I'm more of a vodka girl but I finally get the appeal of a nice cold beer on a hot summer day - ha!) all in all it was a pretty good season! I enjoy my job, its both creative and business oriented so I get the best of both worlds. I love dancing, I'm adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, and enjoy the occassional show (standup comedy, musical theatre, live band etc) I'm lucky to have a network of great friends...Afterall, they're the family that you chose. Having said that,I'm very close with my actual family. Family is very important!I'm Looking to hang out with someone and see if there is any chemistry worth pursuing. I think laughter is key! If you can find someone who makes you smile and who you can laugh with, well that's a pretty good start. I think its important to go somewhere you can talk and hear what the other person has to say. It should be somewhere comfortable for both people. When the weather gets cooler, maybe a cute little coffee shop where we could sit by the fire place and talk over a nice warm latte.

    I absolutely love what I do; every day is something different and exciting. My taste in music is pretty broad and I love going to concerts. I would have to say though that country music is my favourite. When I'm not working I try to get to the gym as often as I can and hang out with friends; just relaxing. I enjoy being outside be it at the beach, on a patio or just strolling around the city. I love the summer and hate the winter, if I could live somewhere that never got cold or had snow I would be a very happy woman. I look forward to meeting someone who shares similar interests as me and who can also introduce me to new things. I am a very laid back person who tries not to take life too seriously. I would consider myself fairly spontaneous and am usually up for anything. Some of my best memories have come from just dropping everything and hopping a plane and getting away for the weekend.
