About Me

I am a successful, intelligent and independent woman who can financially take of herself. With that being said, if we decide to meet I prefer going dutch. My time is too valuable to meet up with someone just for a free meal/drink. Do women really do that? I don't need to be saved from anything and have my life in order, no daddy or self image issues here. I have never been married nor do I have any children and would prefer the same of my future partner. I love laughing at myself and looking for someone who is mature/stable and can do the same. I am looking for someone who enjoys the arts and has a passion for music like i do.I enjoy live music, especially the local scene (Old 97's, Burning Hotels, The Toadies,The Orbans, Smile Smile, etc.) and always up for a concert. I frequent many local music venues and always up for a good show! I don't call what I do work because I truly love what I do. I spend my weekdays with a national non-profit organization that assists those with cancer and chronic illnesses obtain financial assistance for their medication/treatment costs. I have always had a passion to help others and I am grateful I can say I do that on a daily basis. I have a busy schedule but make time for the people in my life. I am not looking to get married tomorrow but also not interested in a casual affair. My time is valuable and so is yours. I took up running a few months ago and have 4 5k's under my belt. I am working towards a 10k before the end of year so I train ***times a week. I love running by the lake before everyone else wakes up. I like to say I've done or tried most of everything once so I am always up for an adventure and learning something new. I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and would like to find someone who can appreciate that and dish it back to me. I love to laugh and typically I am laughing at myself. Life is too short to be serious all the time. I have been known to do random things at the drop of a hat. If I have a desire to do something or visit somewhere, I just do it. I would like my partner to be open to that as well. I am looking for a partner and best friend. Someone to walk beside me not in front or behind me.     What can I say, I want what most woman want. That type of love they write about in country songs. What am I looking for? My best friend. Someone I can share my life making memories with. A role model for my children. Someone who will love me for me, support me when I am down, take care of me when I am sick, be my biggest fan, tell me when I am wrong, encourage me when I am unsure and someone I can laugh with (and probably sometimes at me...HA!).
