Pretty much looking for what most women want: a best friend, companion and someone to come home and talk about the bad days and share all the fun things with. I'm a very independent person and am not the type that needs to be in a relationship but I'm at a point in my life where I want one. Lets just hang out and see where it takes us. I love pretty much all sports whether its playing them or watching them. nothing better than throwing on a hoody and sweats but I can also dress it up and be the pretty girl on your arm. I love to do anything outdoors and try to travel to an unfamiliar place at least once a year. I just got back from a 3 week cross country trip and it was one of the most amazing things Ive ever done. I live less than a block from the beach so I'm there as soon as it gets warm. It's My place to unwind. Then snowboarding in the winter time. My family and few close friends are the most important thing to me. I have a very close knit family so Im definitely looking for someone with strong family values. My friends and i are always looking for the bext fun activity to do or event to plan but Having a lazy weekEnd is always nice too. I like to do the bar scene once in a while but it's starting to get old and would much rather prefer to cook a nice dinner and some drinks at home or a local restaurant. It's always fun to show off my hip hop dance moves from time to time tho. I like to think Im pretty funny and love a good laugh! Humor is always important! Im a teacher and love what I do but I know Im meant to do something more. I'm Making that happen so I want someone whose driven,has goals and is working to achieve them. A sense of humor is the most important thing!I love to have a laugh (maybe even at people sometimes-but all in good fun) and I'm of bit of a smartass too. I can dish it AND take it! (at least I hope so-but don't push it:)I'm a homebody at heart. I like watching movies and being low-key, but I also like to go out with friends now and then and mix it up. Dig the pub/hole-in-wall places over clubs. I'll talk a big game about pool and then act shocked when you beat me. I'm passionate about my life and the people in it. Don't need money to be happy. I love classic rock, 80s music, some recent stuff but my tastes are kind of all over the place when it comes to music-it can be any genre, as long as it's good! I love to read and am always up for good conversation. We can talk politics, philosophy, or even the intricacies of the awesomeness of a show like TrueBlood. I think intelligence and a sense of humor make the hottest man on the planet. That's what we call a winning combination. Oh yeah. Would love to say I'm always trying new things but that'd be a lie. But I can be talked into a lot and usually end up loving new experiences. Looking for that person who compliments my personality well with his and just good-old-fashioned likes who I am on the inside, ya know?The few extra pounds thing: getting back into the routine of going to the gym so I can be healthy and look good but either way my weight doesn't change how freakin awesome I am. I like people who are real and aren't afraid to be themselves. Sometimes I'm an intellectual, sometimes I'm a dork who wants to sing karaoke! Just looking for someone who enjoys that kind of thing and is willing to put himself out there. Definitely want to chat it up for a while first to make sure the date won't be ten kinds of awkward. I'm open to most ideas; like it when the guy makes the plan-at least for the first date. Guess I'm old-fashioned. Bottom line: if we click and make a connection we could have a blast grocery shopping. :)
