I prefer oceans and beaches to lakes and mountains (but love spending time at both). My music is about as ecclectic as my personality...;B radio stations in the car (as well as the dreaded top 40 stations that play the same songs every hour on the hour). So, if I had to assign a description to my music taste, would I place myself in the "your typical late twenties/early thirties white girl music?" Probably. A first date really depends with whom I'm spending my time and where we are in a relationship. Coffee usually works best for introductions (even if you don't drink coffee... get tea/milk/water/juice. Most coffee shops have all of the above). If we're on more familiar terms, I'd like to go to something (semi) active... amusement parks, mini-golf (yes, I AM a nerd), a baseball game (watching something active counts, right?)... you get the picture. Dinner and a movie is NOT a good "get-to-know-you" activity... that's more of a friend/companion pastime.
