About Me

To save us all some time I'd like to stress that im not interested in any smokers, drinkers (Im not comfortable around drunk people),people that do drugs, including pot or abusing perscription drugs. Would preffer someone in my ethnic group (white), no foreigners looking for citizinship, no married or divorced people (unless you have a really good reason), no couples, no criminals and no perverts please. No one with kids. Must have a job and a car, must have a good work ethic, must have own home (renting is fine). Must be Christian. No Democrats. Despite my taste in music and movies I am on the conservative side and believe in Christian morals and values.Two things very important to me in a relationship are TRUST and LOYALTY.     I sometimes am a walking contradiction. I am laid back, but can't sit still. I like being out and about, but one of my favorite places to be is hanging out in my house. I am very outgoing and people like me (for the most part), but I can be shy in situations. Sometimes I wonder if I have ADD. My goal is always to learn something new. I have some hobbies such as soapmaking, sewing, woodworking, which have added to other things I have tried such as beer making, quilting, home improvement, drawing, hiking, golfing, etc. Have I mentioned I have a hard time sitting still? I am very easy going and usually have a easy time just going with the flow. I try to be low drama and hate drama...I think life has enough drama built in that I don't understand why people add to that.I like to stay active and have gotten into running. I'm not very fast, but I do it and it clears my head! Lately I've been slacking and need to get back into it. Definitely enjoy mud runs more than straight up 5ks! On the weekends, I try to go kayaking and it would be nice to find someone who likes kayaking also! Things I like to do (in no particular order): reading, remodeling my house (I don't mind getting my hands dirty and love tearing things up and putting them back together), watching movies, lifting weights, yoga, rollerblading, watching live music, listening to music, traveling (which I haven't been able to do much of lately), playing with my dogs, hanging out with my family and friends, exploring, learning, laughing...you get the picture! I will try almost anything once!I guess you would say I'm entertaining. At work, everyone says that I keep everything fun and interesting. I try to not take myself or life too serious, but I can be serious when necessary. Life's too short to be miserable and stressed over every little thing. So I just try to enjoy the ride!

    I’m trying online dating again after taking some time off. I finally have time in my life now for a relationship, and I’d really like to share the awesome activities in which I participate with a significant other. I really love my career, and work is important to me. My number one hobby is volleyball; I like to play whenever I can find the time & place. Also, it would be nice if that person loves to laugh (and doesn’t take themselves too seriously) and has their own aspirations. I like the first date (and all the rest) to be fun- usually a "spontaneous" type of activity. I was into indoor wall/rock climbing (and would love to get back into it), and I did that once as a second date. I do not like the typical "dinner and a movie" type of date, because I am not a conventional type of person. Anything unusual (but not scary-unusual) is ideal- playing volleyball, rollerblading, cliff-diving...get the picture? :)
