About Me

I'm very confident and independent. I know exactly what I want, and don't want out of life...which I have found, for reasons unknown...seems to make it a bit difficult to find an accepting man.I'm very passionate about my goals and aspirations. I have some strong beliefs. However, I won't judge if yours may not be the same. I'm adult enough to "Agree, to disagree" It can make for some greats debates though, friendly of course :) I try to live my life as true to myself as I possibly can. By being an honest individual, life is much less dramatic that way!! I'm a firm believer, that we as individuals are accountable for what does and does not come to be in our life. I like being outdoors. In the summer I enjoy playing disc golf, swimming, camping, or just having a couple beers BBQ with family and friends. Winter I like snowmobiling, skiing, tubbing. I enjoy music; listening to it, singing it, and most importantly dancing to it. I appreciate all genres. If I had to classify myself though, I would say I’m a rocker chick. I have a semester left, and then I plan to continue my education in radiation therapy. I've been single now for 5 years. I've taken that time to reevaluate my life, and rediscover myself. It's been great!! However, I'd really enjoy having a companion to spend my extra time with. Someone fun and easy going to hang out and and join in on some great adventures. I don't have alot of time at this point in life, but I'd be happy to make time for a good time :) I live in a town of about 3,***most of which are 60yrs plus!! The candidates around here are kind of slim. Like I said what comes into my life is all in my control. So, I figured why not try this whole thing out. It says my intent is to date but nothing serious...basically, that means, I want to get to know someone...slow and steady before I give up my heart, or anything else for that matter ;) lolIf you like what you see, message me! If not gooood luck fishing, hope you find your keeper :) First date..hmm? I'd most defiantly want to do something that gave me a chance to get to know the person I'm with a hike, a picnic. Or, something that involves a little friendly competition. You get to see someones true colors when they want to win. Arcade ( I can play air hockey with the best of em'), paintball, disc golf. I'll try anything once, you'll never know if you like it...if you don't try it.

    People say that love will just fall into your lap. I have never been one to sit on the sidelines. I believe that you need to take life by the horns. So here I am, taking life by the horns and into my own hands. I am first and foremost a Mom to an amazing 9-year-old son. He keeps me on my toes!! I love to hunt, fish, camp (tent and RV), and spend time around a campfire. I also have an artsy side, as I am in a community band and also teach private music lessons. Helping out my close friends and family is a big deal to me, I will do anything I can for them. Being active is a huge part of life for my don and I. I am on a journey to get healthy and workout ***times a week. (Schedule gets crazy sometimes, so I aim for 5, sometimes it is 3.). Being stuck inside is not on my agenda, so couch potatoes need not apply. I am the adopted Mom of my Mom's two cats (her boyfriend is allergic). I would much rather have a dog, specifically a German Shorthair Pointer. One downside: no dogs allowed in my apartment, so cats it is for now.There is so much more to me, but I don't want to give everything away here! Hope to talk to you soon. As long as it isn't a movie, I am game for anything that gives us an opportunity to talk! Bowling, shooting a game of pool, a little revolver action at the gun range (wish there was a better place to shoot a shotgun, as that is what I live for) or a walk around one of the lakes (even in the winter).
