I'm very confident and independent. I know exactly what I want, and don't want out of life...which I have found, for reasons unknown...seems to make it a bit difficult to find an accepting man.I'm very passionate about my goals and aspirations. I enjoy music; listening to it, singing it, and most importantly dancing to it. I appreciate all genres. If I had to classify myself though, I would say I’m a rocker chick. I have a semester left, and then I plan to continue my education in radiation therapy. I've been single now for 5 years. I've taken that time to reevaluate my life, and rediscover myself. It's been great!! However, I'd really enjoy having a companion to spend my extra time with. Someone fun and easy going to hang out and and join in on some great adventures. I don't have alot of time at this point in life, but I'd be happy to make time for a good time :) I live in a town of about 3,***most of which are 60yrs plus!! The candidates around here are kind of slim. Like I said what comes into my life is all in my control. So, I figured why not try this whole thing out. It says my intent is to date but nothing serious...basically, that means, I want to get to know someone...slow and steady before I give up my heart, or anything else for that matter ;) lolIf you like what you see, message me! If not gooood luck fishing, hope you find your keeper :) First date..hmm? I'd most defiantly want to do something that gave me a chance to get to know the person I'm with a hike, a picnic. Or, something that involves a little friendly competition. You get to see someones true colors when they want to win. Arcade ( I can play air hockey with the best of em'), paintball, disc golf. I'll try anything once, you'll never know if you like it...if you don't try it.

Hello and Thanks for checking out my profile! Let me begin by saying I am honest, hard working, strong morals. and good values. You may say you want someone with "no drama" but lets be honest drama is a part of life, It is how one deals with it. I love life and find thepositive in most situations and in most people. Why dwell on the negative when forward movement happens with a positive out look! So let's let the sun shine in our spirit! I love the great outdoors,which includes many of the fun things to do like hiking, fishing,biking gardening,canoeing or kayaking,camping(in tents)swimming,campfires,picnics, BBQ's,grilling, sunrises and sunsets,star gazing and thunderstorms.Yes there is more for the list but we can talk about that later. I am not one to hit the malls for a day of shopping, nor do I waste my time and money getting my hair and nails done at the salon. I prefer to do it myself. I love to sew and crochet. I enjoy cooking and baking often from scratch. I try to stay healthy in the foods I make, staying away from processed foods. I love to go to the farmers market. I enjoy walking around the lake and doing yoga almost on a daily basis. Family and friends are important to me. I have 4 adult children and 7 grandkids which bring me much happiness. I believe in family traditions,such as after church on sunday its a family dinner. Its always a good time to connect after a busy week. I do some volunteering but would like to do more. I enjoy most music and like to dance. I don't care for rap and some country. I love to travel and have been to many beautiful places and there are many more places I want to see. Since the weather is getting nice, I would like to enjoy an appetizers and a beverage on a patio for the first time I met someone. If it were a second meeting/date I think a picnic would be great. Either setting would allow us to get to know one another without distractions. Plus both are casual enough that being comfortable is in order. It has been a very long time since I have dated anyone so I am sure I will be very nervous and anxious at the same time.
