I have come to see that life is an adventure to be lived to the fullest. I find that the best way to experience life is with others albeit friends, family or colleagues. Biking, walking or hiking in the summer or downhill skiing, ice skating, snow shoeing or making a snowman in the winter. I have always wanted to try cross country skiing as well. Historic walking tours, Shakespeare in the Park or Jazz in July or the state fair. I would love to learn to dance better and would love the chance to become more skilled in the classic dances. I am interested in meeting someone who I can be myself with and someone who brings out the "lovely" in me. Thoughtfulness, honesty, and the ability to trust them completely is a must have. I am looking for someone who has a faith in God and holds similar Christian values, who loves the Lord as well. In a nutshell, someone who I can experience life to the fullest and who wants to enjoy it with me. Being able to have conversation and find out about each other is the main objective. Whether that is at a local coffee shop or over dinner or whatever we opt to do for me is fine. As you can see by my profile I am pretty flexible so I'm not too picky with the format.

You may say you want someone with "no drama" but lets be honest drama is a part of life, It is how one deals with it. I love life and find thepositive in most situations and in most people. I am not one to hit the malls for a day of shopping, nor do I waste my time and money getting my hair and nails done at the salon. I prefer to do it myself. I love to sew and crochet. I enjoy cooking and baking often from scratch. I try to stay healthy in the foods I make, staying away from processed foods. I love to go to the farmers market. I enjoy walking around the lake and doing yoga almost on a daily basis. Family and friends are important to me. I have 4 adult children and 7 grandkids which bring me much happiness. I believe in family traditions,such as after church on sunday its a family dinner. Its always a good time to connect after a busy week. I do some volunteering but would like to do more. I enjoy most music and like to dance. I don't care for rap and some country. I love to travel and have been to many beautiful places and there are many more places I want to see. Since the weather is getting nice, I would like to enjoy an appetizers and a beverage on a patio for the first time I met someone. If it were a second meeting/date I think a picnic would be great. Either setting would allow us to get to know one another without distractions. Plus both are casual enough that being comfortable is in order. Sense of humor is a must in my life, I work in a very tough field, and we need to laugh everyday to make it through. I am sometimes known as a smart ass, a title I fully agree with. My wit has been described as dry humor and yes, even sarcastic. Family and friends play a very important in my life. I have two children ages 22 & 25, and I will always be their mommy, no matter what age they are, much to their dislike.There is a wide variety of activities I enjoy doing, I can't list them all here, but will give you a general idea.
