Woman. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 52-62
Me….I am the type who would set off on an adventure and let’s see where we end up. I’m the type who doesn’….that’s what showers are for. I’m the type who would think riding horseback to some secluded destination would be cool. I’m the type who will take a jet ski and chase that huge wake. I’m the type that likes to have a few drinks around a fire and get into deep discussions. I’m the type that would try ziplining (any takers on that?). For me life is an adventure and too short to go through it doing the same old all the time. There’s enough of the same old in all our lives…..work and other responsibilities take up most of our time. I personally like to do things that expand my thinking. I like challenges whether it's an activity or someone who is intelligent and clever enough to do just that. But I’m not all get up and go and looking for the next challenge. I enjoy movies quite a bit and sometimes long walks are the perfect way to end a day (especially on a beach….at night). I guess what I’m trying to say is for me living is pushing myself way outside of my comfort zone to do, think, and act in ways that are new to me and not worry about what is just acceptable or conforming. How else do we grow as individuals? What I’m looking for…..a guy who feels that life is too short not to live it. A guy who is active. A guy who is not afraid to go outside of his own comfort zone and challenges me to do the same. A guy who likes excitement and newness and isn’t afraid of the unknown adventure. A guy who sees life as an adventure and who matches my creativity in finding ways to challenge each other. And a guy who doesn't look at my age and click on because then you have sold me short. I look at least 10 years younger than my age and don't feel a day over 40. And distance really isn’t an issue for me as long as you're within a day's drive….The way I look at things is our perfect match just may not be in our backyard. So if you're willing to do some driving....so am I. I'm completely game to doing whatever it takes to make a long distance situation work. I have told my kids throughout the years to always stay open for possibilities….even when it seems like an impossible situation. I think that’s a good rule to follow. I don’t like to restrict myself in terms of possibilities. But then I’ve always been a bit of a risk taker. Besides….. Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right. I prefer to think I can.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61
I thank you in advance for reading my entire profile. I am a sensitive, considerate, and friendly person at most times (following the golden rule). I have a good sense of humor and laugh easily. With that having been said, I like going to comedy shows. I also enjoy dining out, watching entertaining movies (with popcorn of course), attending theatrical events, dancing, sight seeing, and watching some sporting events. Being outside on nice days for periods of time is fine. Going for strolls can be fun; but hiking doesn't interest me. I went on two float/camping trips years ago. The floating was fun; but I can live if I never again camp in a tent. I haven't fished in many years; but I might be coerced into doing that again. I took my first ride on a motorcycle in June ***. That was ok; but I prefer vehicles with four wheels. I like listening to rock music, some jazz, and R&B sounds. I currently live with my brother; and I assist him on a daily basis due to him being wheelchair bound. However, I do get out and about. I have two sons. I've been widowed since ***; but am still close with my in-laws. Family is important to me. Last but not least, I am known for my ability to bake some mean desserts, especially cookies. I seek a man that can carry on meaningful, intelligent conversations with proper grammar. I am honest; therefore, I seek this quality in a man. I would like for him to show respect for others (especially me) and therefore gain it in return. Long, unkempt beards are a big no go. Having a good sense of humor (including a sarcastic wit) in his repertoire would be a plus. I am a smoker but refrain from doing so when around those bothered by it. With my smoking in mind and my other faults, I am not perfect (no one is); but I do believe in Jesus, therefore I seek a man that also believes in him. There are many options to choose from for a first meet and greet. It should be in a public place, but quiet enough so we are able to hear what each other is saying. This could be in a coffee shop, nice restaurant, small cafe, or some similar setting. After meeting and seeing whether there is a potential for more get togethers, we could decide which type of events to attend in the future.

Life has given a me a skill set like no other: I can write, I can cook, I can use a glue gun or a power drill - but not at the same time; that's not safe. With the time and space, I grow amazing tomatoes. I ask people how their days are going. My car is 13 years old; just lost my 13-year-old dog. I run three days a week, swim three days a week, eat a doughnut on the seventh. I am at peace with myself and the world. I have always liked Billy Joel. I aspire to a simple task that is a tall order: to love a man again. Bonus points for: a list of your five favorite episodes of "The Simpsons"; joy in being a Bobcat, a keen interest in current events, a healthy disdain of the supernatural, a well-developed personal theory of reality, a better-than-average ability to listen. Let's go to the zoo.
