Clarifications: I am not sure if I am exactly thin. (weigh 127ish, depending on my potato chip consumption) The photos are recent and not altered in any way, so decide for yourself. Also, I am ***cm tall. One kid lives with me, the oldest visits.Usually, people assume I am in my 30s or 40s, attitude, energy, interests, etc. wise.I can be glamorous (or edgy) and I can be goofy. When it's a good tune, I dance all around the house. I am a rock star in my car. I really enjoy other people. I have lived urban, small city, rural. All are great. I am stable and dependable, yet spontaneous and able to take risks. I am passionate and enthusiastic about my work. Actually, that's true about all my interests! Really though, I do know how to relax too. (can't get enough of the beach)My perspective on things is often irreverent or unconventional, but never mean. I tell it the way I see it. I make a lot of people laugh but I am a terrible joke- I am looking for love and fun and companionship -- I am not looking to rescue you in any way; I am not looking for a provider or a protector or a toy boy. However, if you are the one for me, I will turn cartwheels for you! (former cheerleader, can you tell?)My kids ***and ***are my number one priority, without a doubt! They are amazing. Weird and wonderful. And so much fun. I am a lucky mom and I know it. This past weekend I watched my son be 'trainer' for a Major Atom AA hockey team.. Awwww. (jsyk, his tie was ugly-- but he was very handsome. and so serious. So proud I could pop!)My interests are learning and doing. Everything from fitness to psychology. Cultural events to creative arts. Reading to dining out. Marketing/business to home renos. The list goes on and on.... My goals in life are to learn a lot, do a lot, achieve a lot of my dreams, love a lot, laugh a lot....... :) I am sure we can find interests in common.I see an ongoing back and forth conversation bubbling over with energy, ideas, laughter and passion for life, often while doing things or going places! maybe hiking, going to an estate auction, painting a room, attending a concert or play, hanging out with family or friends, exploring a new location, etc. I am not willing to settle. I want a lot, but I have a lot to give! (apparently, my fave phrase today is 'a lot')And YOU? You're uniquely you!     This is my 2nd kick of the can, so to speak. I have decided to update my profile. I'm feeling a bit frustrated because I just did this & lost it all somehow. But, I will give it another try. I am nothing if not resilient. I will attempt to describe myself in a way that is honest, but extremely flattering to me. What is most important for you to hear? I come from an extremely large family & I grew up on a Saskatchewan farm. I will tell you a secret; I love the prairies. I love the sky (especially at night) & I love the flatness of the landscape--the wide-openness of it. You have to be confident in your own survival skills to live on the prairies. I am always proud when people step up the plate during or after a storm to help someone else.***day.Not a big movie-lover or a TV-lover although I don't mind going to the theatre sometimes. I like movies where you see some character development. Sometimes these kinds of movies just make me cry like a baby. Don't ask me why. I get kind of caught up in what's happening, I suppose. I can't say that I really like action movies but I will tolerate them sometimes if there is not a lot of blood &; many others. I don't like country too much but I enjoy listening to "Margaritaville";That Lonesome Road", "Landslide" & "Amazing Grace", if you ask me. And what can you say about The Boss? He's a classic on his own. Have you ever heard him do ";? I like the song anyway but I especially like his rendition.I suppose you could say that I am a work in progress. I look at myself today & think about how I was, even 6 months ago, & I know that I have grown & I don't mean in width. I am not where I want to be yet, by any means, but I am getting there. I also like where I am & I believe that I like myself as I am. That, I must say, has been a long journey & probably not for this profile. I grew up under the tutelage of some really decent people; people with compassion & integrity. These are people who lived honorably (that's an old-fashioned word, I know, but a word not really used enough, in my opinion) so if you want to know what kind of person I am, then think of what those words mean.I am currently working in a human service field. If we ever meet, I will tell you about it. I have aspirations to be self-employed one day. I have my certificate as Life Coach now & hope to get that going. This is all in aid of my goal, which is to see the world.--known or unknown--& just spend a couple days there. I think I will leave my hobbies & interests for another day except to say that I try to be open to new things. So that's me in a nutshell. Hopefully, I will be able to post this without too much trouble. . The coffee thing seems to be the biggest first date option. I suppose it is the easiest & gives you a chance to talk to the other person. I like walks, though. There are so many places in this city that are really pretty.
