So, hobbies first, right? I like practicing my bass, writing, cooking, drawing, various video games (mainly PC games due to the unfortunate and recurring theft of all of my previous game systems) and I've recently started teaching myself how to knit. If knitting only makes you think of grannies, take a step back because I'm definitely not! Just looking for a new hobby is all, and so far it seems like something I'm going to be enjoying.Next, goals and aspirations. Eventually I want to be going to school for nursing and living in my very own apartment, just me and my cat (right now I stay with my friend, her husband and mother, and their three dogs and one cat, not including my own cat!). I don't know much about the health care profession but my mother is a military medic and I love helping people out so it's definitely a start! I remember growing up and my mother coming home, happy about a call she made during the shift that saved someone's life. Yes, you run the risk of being absolutely devastated if things go south with a patient, but from what I saw, the good outweighs the bad.It also says to talk about what makes me unique... I'd say one of my most unique qualities is my courage when it comes to change. I left because I couldn't stand the state, and not a day goes by that I'm not happy about that decision. My favorite bit so far is the warmth, though I will miss the winter skiing I'm going to miss out on!My taste in music? Oh there's too much to tell, I love music. I think the only music I can't stand is rap, pretty much anything else is okay by me.I'm fun, I'm friendly. Feel free to message me! Hello!, I admit that I can be pretty shy when talking to someone new especially in person. After awhile I become the person that my friends and family know. I also admit that I do show my flaws a lot. I do not intentionally show them, but you have to accept a person for who they are flaws in all and I hope you could accept mine. I am currently in the middle of working on two bachelor degrees. I am a double major in psychology and law with a minor in social work. Next summer I plan on attending an internship with the county DA to learn more about becoming a prosecutor. I am also former military, Army to be exact. With that said, I am a person who takes a look at a whole situation before coming to any judgments about people or anything. I ask only one thing and that is to understand that I do want to date or even form a relationship but when I have priorities for my classes and my job, I need your respect and let me take care of it at the time.. I am spontaneous however, with school in session and my job I kind of have to plan my dates ahead.. I'll let the wind take me wherever it blows.My taste in music varies. I am a huge fan of Eminem and I have been since I was 8 years old; bands such as Fall Out Boy and Panic of the Disco are amazing!. I do listen to other varieties of music, I can't listen to a lot of country due to it makes me all sad, yet be surprised that I do know a lot about 80's music and even music before then.. I'm not into liars, or guys who come on to me with the intention of texting me about sex. I also am not a fan of guys who are extremely clingy. However, I do love the attention, just not ***. When I am talking to someone, I expect to be talked to appropriately and would like intelligent conversations. If you cannot do that, then do not waste your time and especially mine... ") I really am a simple person to please on a first date. An impressive first date would be a simple dinner date and a movie. However, I do realize that a movie prevents conversation.. So maybe a dinner date... and just find somewhere to get to know each other a lot better. I'll leave the choice up to you.
