Hi I'm Stephanie! I'm an elementary school teacher here in town. I teach a ***split and I absolutely love my job...even when the times can get tough. During the school year I'm pretty busy, but love going out on the weekends to the movie theater, the park with my dogs, hanging out, getting a Redbox and just chilling, or hitting up down town! As far as my personality, I'm a mix of things lol. I'm the oldest of 3 and so I have a responsible side which also connects with my career. On the flip side, my students and I can really connect because I have a silly, sarcastic, and playful side. At times I can be serious, when needed, but for the most part I'm easy going. I'm a very caring, giving, nurturing, and understanding girl. Now, don't let my sweet smile fool you... I'm competitive lol. I LOVE sports, both playing and watching. My favorite teams are: Chiefs, Royals, Lakers, OKC, and Sporting KC.?? I go to the gym ***days a week. I'm not a health nut (because I love food lol) but I want to meet someone who keeps their body in good to average shape. I enjoy spending time with my family whenever I can make it back to KC, they're very important to me.-.. lots others lol. My goal of meetville is just to meet some people I can connect with and have a good time with (no that's not code for 1 night stands lol). If it turns out that we start going on more dates and get into a relationship then that's cool too! Meeting up at a coffee shop, park, or book store to just chat and get to know each other. Then if we connect we can go from there :-) ... I do like the typical dinner date or movie date but I'm all about taking things one step at a time.

I know several people that have had luck with the online dating world, so I thought I could test my luck out at it.I'm looking for a guy that knows how to treat a lady right. At the end of the day, I want to have someone to be my best friend. A person to listen to me, laugh with me, and go on adventures. I try not to ever be boring and I need someone that wants to keep up with me.I worked at a library for nearly seven years before moving on to another part-time job making more money. In May I will graduate with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I love teaching children! They are so full of wonder and curiosity about the world around them. It makes me feel good to help children learn new things everyday. I used to teach beginning violin to elementary age students seeing as I have played the violin for about 13 years.I enjoy going out a few nights a week just as much as I would enjoy staying home watching a movie.-trained bunny, cat, and new kitten. There are always new places to visit, restaurants to try, and locations to explore. Living in the city is an excellent way to never be bored! I spend my spare time on the internet, occasionally reading books, renting a Redbox, and hanging out with friends. I love pretty much all animals and will go out of my way to pet the dog walking down the sidewalk. If I can, I try to make it outside often.;My red hair has kinda become just a park of who I am now. It almost has it's own mind and personality. I enjoy collecting makeup, and have quite a large collection. I try to always dress to impress, although I'm not sure I have one particular type of style. I dress to fit my mood and am not afraid to try out the newest fashions. I have a a few tattoos and piercings as well. Grabbing coffee is always an option for me. It's an excellent chance to talk and get to know someone. Or maybe go for a walk around a local park.

My hobbies are varied and I am always willing to try new things. I love to travel and I love to be outdoors. My favorite things to do outdoors are swim, kayak, camp, and star gaze. I love photography and I really like taking nature photography and candid family portraits. I feel I have reached some of my goals and aspirations. I wanted to find a way to serve the Lord in my work and I now work for an ELCA Lutheran church as the Director of Christian Discipleship...which is a fancy way of saying I do programming and theological education with everyone from ***. I love my job and my faith is very impoortant to me. My other goals would be to eventually serve the Lord through Outdoor Ministry and to one day have big, loving family of my own. I am not sure what makes me unique. God has designed me to do His will and I strive to do that every day. Of course, I fail daily, but I pick myself up and try again. I am probably unique in that I am a very insightful person. I really like to watch and listen to people and deduce where they are in their lives...which sounds weird and stalkerish...I know....but it is not as bad as it sounds :)My taste in music, as cliche as it sounds, spans all types of genres, except Heavy Metal..not a big fan. My favorite genres would probably be country, classic rock, some pop, Christian, and folk/blugrass. I think the best first date, for me, would be going somewhere like a resturant that was public, but still quiet. We would talk and get to know each other and become more like friends than strangers. I am all for whatever makes the whole situation less awkward. ;)I would be looking for whether or not I could see myself, first, hanging out with you and getting to know you more, and second, whether or not I could see myself being with you for the rest of my life (which is not typically something you can figure out in a first meeting). I would be looking for honesty about how you feel about me (first impression stuff...(not 'do you love me already?....how about now?....'). :)
