I am looking for a soul-mate with similar interests and beliefs as myself, who has a big heart and likes to have fun and laugh. I love to joke around and not take things too seriously. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff! I enjoy most activities, especially if they are outdoors ---hiking, sporting events, water sports, the beach, mountains, etc. My favorite place to be would probably be a nice beach somewhere - body-surfing, building a sandcastle, making you a mermaid tail out of sand, throwing a Frisbee, or just soaking up the sun! My friends and family all consider me to be honest and dependable, and if I tell you I am going to do something, I try my best to do it. I am caring, affectionate, passionate, and believe in total monogamy. I love kids of all ages and believe that kids help keep us young at heart. They teach us patience and how to laugh and enjoy the moment. I tend to be a positive person with my "glass half full", and think that happiness is a choice. However, I also believe in working through problems and not carrying a grudge.     Im not sure Im going to say so much about me. I think Im a pretty good guy. Evidently Im not as hot as I used to be but few of us are at 51.     I’m looking for companionship, friendship and if the stars align romance. I moved to this area about a year ago for a university teaching position. It’s a bit of an adjustment.I’m a visual artist and observe a lot, and listen, and think. But I can also hold up my end of, and enjoy good conversation.
