I’m looking for companionship, friendship and if the stars align romance. I moved to this area about a year ago for a university teaching position. It’s a bit of an adjustment.I’m a visual artist and observe a lot, and listen, and think. But I can also hold up my end of, and enjoy good conversation. Humor and creativity are essential components of a healthy life to me. I’m interested in the arts, music, theater, literature, and of course visual art exhibitions. Enjoying the literature and music of this region. Enjoy sports okay but I wish other things got the same level of attention and resources as sports do in this region.I enjoy nature a great deal, started hiking with the Sierra Club when I was 15 and have had a lot of wonderful outdoors experiences. Locally I enjoy kayaking and canoeing at a local wildlife refuge, would like to find some interesting hikes.’ve been here and find it an interesting and vibrant place. I go to the French Quarter, but spend just as much time exploring other neighborhoods.Interested in meeting a woman who is kind, thoughtful, intelligent and more importantly curious, interested in experiencing/learning/creating new things and someone who can find the humor in life.
