I've known most of my friends since childhood, however I'm quite comfortable in all social settings and enjoy making new friends. I'm the type of man that can strike up a conversation with just about anyone and I'm seldom at a loss for words. I have a sharp wit that I inherited from my father and If you can make me laugh then we would be a perfect match. I'm very analytical in my thought process and enjoy finding simple solutions to solve complex problems. I've been described as a "think outside of the box" type of person, and encourage other people to do so as well. I was a computer programmer, and Logistics Analyst for a major automotive company before I took an early retirement. I really enjoy the simple things in life, but I'm not opposed to getting dressed up and going to a nice restaurant with someone special in my life. I'm not going to pretend to be someone that I'm not. Getting dressed up means wearing my favorite cowboy hat, starched jeans, button down shirt and a nice pair of boots. I love to hold hands, cuddle and shower my woman with affection. I'm an old-fashioned kind of man that still believes in opening doors for his girl. I still say sir and ma'am, and believe in treating women with dignity and respect. My favorite food is Tex-Mex.     That is where I developed my love for the beach, water and the Ocean County area. I moved to Ocean County in ***and have been there ever since.In my teens, I developed a love for music. I found a niche in the laptop computing world in ***and have been there ever since. On December 30th, ***, I was in a severe motorcycle accident that almost cost me my life. With the help of my family and a few close friends, I was able to recover with only minor residual limitations. If you can believe it and as tragic as it was, I think of it as a positive time in my life. During my recovery, I got my priorities in order and realized a lot of my short comings. It was a new focus to correct them. All my friends seemed to fade away when I couldn't leave the house. It was my family that was there for me and it was my family I need to be there for going forward. That was just one of the life lessons learned during that time. I am thankful everyday for the family and friends that I have now.In ***, I decided that I needed a change. Since then, I split my time between the two residences. My love for Harley’s and motorcycle riding made this the perfect place for me.In ***I founded a military charity foundation and have been helping returning soldiers start their own businesses and get back into school... www.wvfv.org......I lost my home to the flood...I have since rebuilt and managed to move on once again in life.I am at a place in my life now that I worked hard to be at. I have a great family. I job that I love. I am financially in a good place.
