About Me

Passionate optimism keeps me going. As passionate as I am about gaining new experiences and having a good time doing it, I also am quietly & seriously looking for my soulmate; a woman who is not afraid to love me with her whole heart and is prepared and willing to open up her entire life to me. When I find such a woman I will happily respond to her love and generousity in kind by opening up my heart, soul, and entire life as I give everything I have to that relationship. I have yet to find such a woman, but deep down I know that my match is out there somewhere.-infested swamp as I am taking ballroom dance lessons or dressing up in suit & tie for a night of dinner, concert/show/play, & dancing. I love listening to jazz while I cook in the kitchen or just hanging out with my college-age sons on the back deck with a couple cold ones & some steaks on the grill. Staying up late with my sons watching a movie while we nibble on popcorn. I am passionate about my relationship with Jesus Christ, my sons & family, my church family, and my friends, in that order. I am also passionate about music, learning, exploring the outdoors, exercise, debate, travel, politics, dining, dancing, and serving others. One of my top priorities is having fun with friends and family.) Another priority is sharing my blessings with others. I am blessed with great health and I donate my platelets through the Red Cross to cancer patients, who desperately need them. I am also blessed with two wonderful sons. I love my two sons. I look forward to watching them excel at the things they love to do and earn an income doing them. In about three years, I look forward to a time when the three of us can sit back with a couple of cold adult beverages and talk about our experiences in college, our experiences with women, and our philosophical outlook on life. Some of this is happening already. As I semi-retire, I have thought of becoming an ordained pastor and a forceful and eloquent Professional Speaker for right and wrong (as opposed to right and left) in the form of a passionate and persuasive Conservative Republican Lutheran Pastor. As time goes by with my special someone, I hope to travel and share with her my past experiences as we build new memories together. I am working towards financial independence, so I can someday enjoy my grandkids and relish in my sons' fatherhood experiences. My travel destinations will be part exploration, and part spiritual growth.
