Like most people on here, it's hard to try to write about yourself without sounding egotistical or pompous. I'm here because I'm not much into the bar scene. To begin with, I work shift work (2 days, 2 nites, 4 off) so if you need your partner to be free every nite and weekend, I'm not the one for you. There are benefits to my shift if you take the time to find out. I play the bagpipes as member of the fire department Honor Guard and and hope that you will understand that I do travel to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I'm looking for someone who is honest, down to earth, caring, passionate and family oriented. We would have similar interests but you would also have your thing to do also. I don't have any kids but I do love them and would welcome yours with open arms.By the way, if your profile is written as if you are texting someone, I'm not interested. Consider me old fashion, however there is still something to be said about having an understanding of the traditional written language. Dinner at a casual restaurant or just meet for drinks or coffee to talk and get to know one another.
