I've been on and off this site for a while now and have definitely had success and met some really cool people along the way. However I found that the majority of time I've 'spent' with people I've met online have mostly been over the phone, or well.. online. I feel there is no substitute for face time, and it's something our generation is starting to forget how to do. Having just turned 25, I'm starting to look for something more... tangible.
