I love variety in everything I do. Variety truly is the spice of life. I love biking and outdoorsy activities (i.e. camping, boating, hiking, etc.). I love campfires! Although I don't have any pets currently, I am definintely a dog person. I try to strike a balance between keeping busy, spending quality time at home with the people that mean the most to me, and some time to myself. I am at a point in my life where I'd like to share my life with someone special on a consistent basis, settle down. My goal is to find a guy who has a desire to experience all that life has to offer with me, yet has some of his own interests. My expectation is to find someone who does what he says he's going to do...it's the little things that make me happy. :) I'm looking for a "partner in crime," a companion, friend and confidant.Although I work hard (and sometimes many jobs), I know how to shut work off when necessary and enjoy life. I know how to have a good laugh, am witty (or try to be) and am often the one telling/making the corny, ridiculous, stupid and sometimes even dirty jokes. People often think I look younger than I am, and once they talk to me, in depth, many discover I have "an old soul." I tend to be outgoing and talkative, but there is also a shy side to me.I prefer to get to know someone via phone, rather than ***'s hard to get an accurate read on someone you don't know, in written messages. The reality is that something simple and somewhere fairly quiet is probably the best place to go on a first date, so that we can actually talk and get to know one another. If it doesn't work out after a date or two it's understandable...but then let's have a quick conversation about it, rather than just hoping that we can completely avoid one another and disappear!     I don't like this part of a profile but I realize it's supposed to give a sense of my personality (which is not likely to be your focus anyway) I'm funny and laugh a lot but I've been told I'm "intense".     I'm Heather and I guess I'm on here to see what's out there... I'm not saying there should be shame in online dating but to be honest I'm not shouting it from the rooftops that I'm on here. It seems the world is now online and since my professional life keeps me steady busy and I'm not spending my nights off in bars this is where I am.I love witty banter and sarcasm (I use it often) and don't ever want to force a conversation.
