HOWEVER, I am not so desperate for a ring and a baby that I'll try to force or jump into just anything. Ha ha. My point is that I'm at least open to more developing if the chemistry and connection are there and would like him to have a similar view. For those guys who need me to be very clear: I am not on here looking for a friend with benefits or random one-nighters. There are plenty of other sites out there for that sort of thing, and they require fewer words. :)* I'm not a flake. I'm even-keeled, dependable, reliable, do what I say I'm going to do, and try very hard not to waste anyone else's time. Flakiness is one of my biggest pet peeves. I'm looking for someone similarly grounded and down-to-earth.* Manners are important. I don't think people should leave behind their trash in public places for others to clean up--like at a sporting event, a movie theater, wherever. And I appreciate traditional chivalrous acts--even small stuff that a lot of people wouldn't notice, like waiting for the girl to drive away first. (And I know this shouldn't be a big deal...but what is with people not knowing how to properly hold silverware? LOL)* I like guys who are energetic and who are willing to try new things. But...sometimes I just wanna sit on my amply-sized butt and have a Netflix night. So yeah...I like a go-getter, but I also like someone who can let the wheels stop turning and actually enjoy downtime and relaxation.* I like guys who, if not on the same page, are at least in the same book as me politically-speaking. I consider myself a mix of conservative and libertarian with some conspiratorial underpinnings. :-D* Above all else, I like guys who still know what it means to be a *man.* Someone who has values and a sense of justice. And someone who is kind...to me, to children, to animals, etc. I'm usually easy-going, so I'll leave this to him to decide.

    I am the proud mommy of one beautiful daughter. I just finished college and love what I do. I'm not real sure what i'm looking for on here..... So far, not so good. Blah blah blah. I guess this is what the dating world is all about? I love to make new friends and meet new people. Unfortunately, this experience has been a huge let down.Good looks and status don't preserve healthy friendships or relationships. Your character traits (like how we treat one another) do. I have often wondered why we care for things we can never measure up to such as superficial and materialist ideals. As you know, physical attraction depreciates overtime, while character can be cultivated and improved. In other words, your character doesn't depreciate over time - it is an investment that actually gains value if you work for it. We cannot measure the worth of someone through means of status, beauty, wealth, and power. These things have very little to do with improving the quality of life as they are only surface things, appealing mainly to our most carnal nature. If one gains people's attention or affection based on good looks, the words one speaks, natural beauty, status, and rank, then that will be the only things to keep their attention. Of course, these aren't negative traits; more so, they are not the kinds of traits meant to sustain us.

    Ok, let's see...first off, I'm not looking for someone to take care of me. I'm quite capable of paying my bills, or buying whatever I want or need. I'm just looking for someone to hang out with and possibly see if it turns into more. I'm not into guys that are much older or younger than me. I don't need a guy to be my father and I don't want to have to deal with little boys crap either. I have a son, I don't need another one. I'm only looking for white somewhat athletically fit guys. Sorry, that's just how I roll. I know this sounds crude and mean, but I know what I'm looking for, and I just want to make it clear. With all of that being said, I'm a pretty easy going person. I can be crazy, impulsive, funny, a ****, sweet, and caring. I like to make people laugh and I love goofing around. I'm a full time student and hold down a good job. So sometimes making plans can be difficult. Hopefully by the end of next spring I will have my bachelors in Business. I have a son, so if you don't like kids, you're barking up the wrong tree here. I spend a lot of time on the river boating during the summer. I hope to be at a few Hawkeyes games this fall, so I may need someone to come with me! I prefer cold weather to hot weather...I figure you can always find ways to stay warm in the cold, but you could be butt ass naked and still be a sweat ball in the heat.
