Hi, I'm Christie. Here are the basics... I'm 33 years old, no kids, and never been married. I have a decent job and consider myself pretty independent... but I'm also ready to settle down and start a life together with someone. But I know this takes time - getting to know someone and making sure you are right for each other. I'm not the type of person that thinks a relationship can just happen overnight.I like hanging out with friends, going out for a drink once in awhile, or just hanging out at home with dinner and a movie and maybe a bottle of wine, being outdoors, watching football, camping, biking, hiking, bonfires, checking out new or different places, riding on the back of a motorcycle, traveling, and seeing different places and trying new things. There really is soooo much to do around the metro area, but it's a lot more fun to have someone to share those experiences with :) I also just like having a low-key weekend and spending time with that special someone :)I wouldn't consider myself the high maintenance type. I'm not interested in playing games or playing with your emotions. Think of me as someone who is very drama-free! I hate drama and it's hard to even be around it if any friends of mine are going through stupid drama. I sometimes tend to be blunt and I'll call it how I see it. But I also know when I just need to keep my mouth shut too :) There is a time and a place for everything.In an ideal match, I'd just like to find someone that shares some similar interests. I realize we can't have everything in common because in a healthy relationship we all need time to do our own things too. I'd like to meet someone that is also ready for a serious long-term relationship with the possibility of it developing into more. Someone who is caring, passionate, loyal, knows how to treat a lady, funny, kind, adventurous and wants to experience all of the great things life has to offer. I know there are more things I could list here, but I think we're all after generally the same thing... someone you can enjoy being with and maybe even to share your life with :) I don't have anything against being with someone who has kids, but I would like to have my own too. I think (ideally) it's be nice to share that first experience with someone who hasn't already been there. But I also realize we've all had past relationships. If I send you a short e-mail, it's only because I'd like to at least make sure there is a mutual interest before spending a lot of time introducing myself. That's what my profile is for, right? :) A few other random things about me.. I own my own townhouse. I've had roommates on and off the last few years, but I now have the place back to myself again. It's nice to have all of my own space back, but it does get lonely too! I like to cook breakfast on the weekends. I like to cook other meals too, but I'm not the most creative with it, and it's just not much fun cooking for one. I'd love to be able to have someone I can cook for, or with, or both :) I like to relax with a glass of wine. I like to explore different areas of nature. Almost everything tastes better with cheese on it. I'm typically the type that likes to have things planned and somewhat organized ahead of time. But I'm also up for random and spontaneous activities too :) There is always more I could list, but if you're still reading and I've captured your interest this long, please drop me a line and lets see if we hit it off :)Also - I'm not a fan of the "meet me" feature, if I could turn it off, I would. For a first date I think a simple dinner or a HH with an appetizer and a beer and good conversation would be a good place to start. It's hard meeting a perfect stranger, but I believe if its right, nature will take its course in the right direction.
