About Me

I decided to give this site a shot because I don't have much time to go out and actually meet people. I also am not one who likes to go out to the clubs and party and I don't think that the club is always a good place to meet someone. So here I am! I am looking for someone I can spend time with and get to know. I am looking or someone who has got a good head on their shoulders, kind, caring, sweet, fun and respectful. If you have children also, then all the better. If children aren't part of your personal goals but you can accept mine, then terrific.I was brought up to treat people nicely, not to disrespect others, and to help those less fortunate than myself. I would describe myself as level-headed. I am very quiet, caring, kind, generous, and fun to be around. I enjoy life and I enjoy the simple things that life has to offer. I work hard and expect the same in a relationship. Family and friends are very valuable to me. I love romantic nights as well as adventurous dates. I am a very quiet person and I think that is one of my major downfalls, but if I am comfortable around you I tend to come out of my shell. I like to spend my time with family and friends. I enjoy summer months the most. I tend to hibernate in the winter although I do enjoy snowmobiling, but I am not a fan of the cold. I feel a cold, snowy day is good for cuddling up under a warm blanket and watching a movie. I love music and my mood depends on what I'm listening to. I will warn you now that I can't carry a tune, but I will sing anyway...lol :) I would like to travel someday, but I have to win the lottery first!     This is is no particular order. Just the usual randomness, which you may come to know about me...I'm in sales for a start up, which seems to be the trend 'round these parts.I can follow recipes, find pleasure in cooking, and love going to farmer's markets. Traveling abroad is something I don't do often enough, but have been fortunate enough to visit some really wonderful spots around the world. I'm competitive at board games and when I play doctor, I play to win. I love picking out music on a juke box and singing in that 'tone deaf karaoke' sort of way. I collect concert prints, although I can't seem to find anymore wall space for this little obesession. I'm just as comfortable in my 4 inch heels as I am in my flip flops. I'm active, whether it's finding trails to hike, yoga, or just walking my dog. Poor grammar and syntax is a turn off. I forget punch lines to every joke I hear and I jack up cliches. What's that saying? Broke the camel off the straw's back???Man that's a lot of 'I's in that paragraph! Enough about me. What do you think about me? ;)In all seriousness though, I'm in no rush to find THE one, so to speak. I have the mind set that if it's there, it's there. If it's not, it's not and that is completely fine with me. New friends are always a plus.
