About Me

I am a mid-west girl at heart. I can fish, camp, hang out with the guys and sometimes have a foul mouth, but don’t be fooled… I’m still a lady. I am kind of old fashioned I guess, and I love leading a simple, laid back lifestyle... it doesn't take much to make me happy. I am comfortable with myself... I know that I may not be everyone's top choice(even though I'm awesome lol). I am a genuinely happy person... and believe that you can wake up every morning and make a choice to be happy... and I do. If you are the type of guy who's ego won't allow you to see beyond fact that I'm a fat girl... Move on. On the fat girl note... I'm not as fat as I used to be, and steadily I continue to work on me, so if you're a good motivator and enjoy being outside like I do... let me know :) I'll never be that skinny girl, and that's fine by me as long as I'm healthier :) Country music is my favorite, though I also enjoy 70s, 80s, and 90s music. I love to laugh, comedies are my top choice. I am a girl (surprise!) though... so chick flicks occasionally happen. There is no getting around that. I also like war and action movies.I enjoy watching sports, especially baseball, Go Cubbies! I am just getting into football, the ***Season was the first season I actually enjoyed and understood!I am looking for someone who has their sh it together. Someone who knows what they want out of life, and they aren't afraid to go after it. I'm tired of playing games and like you, I've been hurt. I am completely ready to give myself in a relationship that is going somewhere, and if you're right for me, you should be ready too. I'd like my guy to be okay with occasionally doing our own thing... ie: Girls night/Guys night. I want to be a priority, but I still want to be able for each of us to hang out with our friends, both, together and individually. Its okay if you have kids, I love kids. I don't have children of my own, but would one day like to, having a family down the road is something that is important to me. Some characteristics that I look for in a mate: Sense of humor, respect, responsibility, affectionate, compassionate, full of life, driven, capable. When I think ahead to being in a stable relationship or even marriage. I am looking for a guy who knows I'm not a pushover, and can make responsible choices as the man of the house without taking advantage of me or the situation. You should be able to be the man without disrespecting me.I enjoy boating, riding on the back of a motorcycle, camping, fishing and being outdoors. Sitting around a fire. Playing Euchre. Traveling. Live music. Reading. Photography. Saturday morning breakfasts. Coffee. The cool side of my pillow.
