This profile is a little different to most you’ve probably experienced. It’s longer for one. It’s intended to give a little more insight into who I am as a person. I’m not looking for a fling or a one night stand. Honesty, integrity and respect are important. I truly believe in being up front and honest. I’m looking for a companion as well as a friend who is as passionate as he is reasonable. I’d also appreciate if you’ve got your life together. What I mean is, you have a stable job, a place to call your own and reliable transportation. If you have these things you’re doing well for yourself. Lastly, I’m looking for patience. I’m a little socially awkward at first, and like many people I have flaws. But I’m always looking to improve. Give me the chance. I’ve met a lot people on here who know exactly who they are and what they want and that’s great. I’m not there yet. I’m ever evolving, trying to better myself, trying simply to make my way. Like any human being I strive for more but I’m not unhappy with my life. It is modest. I make a decent living and now I would like to find someone to share my life with. I am a poet, a geek, and a sci-fi fan. As an English major I tend to look up new and interesting words to use in the right context. My favourite word right now is Machiavellian . As a drama minor I love movies and plays and tv shows.I love to laugh and dance, hang out with friends for dinner or just to talk, go to the movies, go to the beach in the summer or just a walk around town. I try to get to the gym at least three days a week and try to keep fit and healthy which is hard to do cause I love food. Not that I pig out on junk food, I just like carbs. I’m not really into sports. Sorry sports fans, I just don’t get the attraction but I’ve lived in a family of football (English)fanatics so I’ll listen when you talk about it I just don’t know if I can pretend I’m interested.I work in Insurance as a junior underwriter. I just fell in really. I’m making it work but I’m also looking for something to really drive me, so I’m not sure if I’ll be in insurance forever.I am family oriented and want one of my own some day. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean my womb is screaming at me or anything.And I’m Catholic. Don’t judge me on that alone, talk to me first. I don’t really fit in anywhere. I find being honest and saying it like it is to be the best way to start things. No sense acting all girly girly and than you realize I'm a beer drinking, wise ass 3 months later and being upset. As much as I can be the fun one, I don't enjoy clubs so much as a bar, pool table, juke box friends, conversation and fun if there happens to be dancing in there I WOULD NOT complain. BLACKhawks!!!! Aside from that, I'm excited that bonfire weather is upon us and I need a partner in crime. I work in a corporate world and know there is a time and place for everything, dont mistake my ability to enjoy my downtime as in inability to be a lady - I am very much a lady, but I'm the kind that doesn't think I have to be grossed out by everything and be overly girly to prove that. I like the outdoors (although its new to me) and I dont mind dirt and camping. I like it all, I love the water and all things water related. When we are done, I may want to get a pedi so I can "chick it up" again, but I am willing to try just about anything. I am an adventurer at heart.I have been cliff diving/climbing, bungee jumping, parasailing, scuba diving, ATV riding etc. I really just want to find someone to share this adventure we call life with. Open to suggestions.
