I love to travel: my career has taken me to some interesting places (but I'm a Caribbean girl, at heart!). I try to live according to my values. That involves being environmentally conscious, being (mostly) vegetarian, riding my bike and car sharing when I have to drive, which I love to do, supporting gay rights and human rights, fighting patriarchy through beauty and love, and generally consuming less and enjoying more.     People often describe me as 'quirky' which I take as a high compliment. My most active hobbies currently include yoga, hiking, cycling (I just finished cycling across Spain), and music. I play cello a bit and like to listen to classical and indie music (my favourite artist at the moment is probably Kishi Bashi). I like the rain. I'm fairly certain unicorns are real, but I have no evidence of this yet. I'm a big nerd (my favourite number is pi) and get excited by math.     Sometimes life just happens and we don't make the time to meet new people and create new friendships or relationships. My lifestyle is very active so most of my hobbies/extra curricular activities involve physical activity. Hockey is my passion and you will find me on the ice at least 3 days a week.
