About Me

Well here we go... First and foremost..GO STEELERS!! So apparently one can assume that I'm a sports fan and from "The Burgh"! I'm a pretty shy until I get to know you then I'm pretty much of a chatter box! I'm not the best at describing myself either, but I'll give it a try.... I prefer to surround myself with positive and active people( although a lazy day is not forbidden, after all, it rains once once in while right?) I consider myself pretty funny and laugh at myself A LOT( others may disagree tho...LOL). I'm really laid back and I let the small things in life roll off my back, there are enough Walmart regulars that will freak out for me! I do, however, have strong opinions on certain issues but I will never tell someone that they are wrong, everyone has a right to their opinion no matter how off base I feel that they are! Now the fun stuff! I have just started to dabble in 5k's and other events! So far I have liked the challenge and the reward of meeting my accomplishments!! I also have a dog that I really enjoy talking to the beach and parks(she is really small, so a jog is pretty much out of the question). I really believe that the best memories are those that are simple, unintentional, and free! I'm very loyal to my friends and my word! When I say I'm going to be somewhere at a certain time I'm usually there 5 minutes early! Oh and I have to use my phone for spell check! Well this is me!     A little bit about me. I originally got married at an early age, in my opinion, and didn't take that time to discover the world and all it had to offer. Now that I am single I am into traveling and trying new things outside of the daily 8 to 5 grind. I have 2 kids. My son is 10 and my daughter is 8. Right now they are my world. I have them 80% of the time and when they are with me it's usually about having a good time. They are into sports so my week nights usually involve taking them to practice where ever that may be. Me personally, I like to talk to someone to get to know them so dinner and a movie is usually out. The dinner part is ok, but save the movie for another day. I don't want to do the cheesy "walk on the beach" thing as a first date, but I do like it. It's a time to relax and just talk and get to know someone. I believe everyone is different on a first date than they are in real life as first impressions are everything. For me, I'm shy and it takes a while for me to open up and go with the flow. I guess when it boils down to it, a first date can be anything fun where someone's true colors can show. We can meet for coffee, or ice cream, either doesn't matter as long as it allows for conversation.
