Life is an adventure to me. I'm not content with average because I believe it's in my makeup to push the limits of excellence. Which is why I think a sense of humor is a must in life. To me, there is nothing better than something as simple as a great conversation over coffee, going rollerblading on a bright, sunny day, or playing a board game with some close friends. I'm genuine, loyal, and above all truthful in my efforts because I have an old fashioned moral compass and value my time as well as those I meet. I love a good challenge, and find those that feel the same to be the best at making me a better person. However, I am also the kind of woman who loves to give whenever I have the ability to whether it's time, money, experience, etc.. I love to help. I'm the kind of girl who thinks that honesty is still worth something. And I want a man who feels the same. I love kids, and would welcome the opportunity, but if it doesn't happen I'm not terribly upset because I have a heart for all kids.I'm very much a goal oriented person, and am currently pursuing my college degree in Computer Science in the hope of completing my dream of a career in software design. Finding a guy with motivation and goals has always stood out to me, and I believe it creates passion. So even the worst of situations can present an opportunity to turn bad into good..loss into gain. For this reason, I love to learn, and keep an open mind and heart to all things so I don't miss something significant like my best friend. But, I have always loved the dreamer's, the innovators, risk takers and those that live passionately and without regret.I enjoy all types of sports..football and basketball being my favorites. My music tastes range from Josh Groban and Rascal Flatts to Thousand Foot Krutch and even Nickelback. The classic rockers like Queen, AC/DC, etc.. I was definitely born in the wrong era which is probably why I like live theater as well. Things like writing, drawing animation, making jewelry, reading..they're all therapeutic for me. While animation brings out the kid in me, the act of creating something is what makes it all worth the effort.There are many paths, options, and choices that can lead to that sometimes elusive thing called love. An accidental meeting, seeing someone long past with new eyes, etc... I think love can find a person in so many ways that we have to expect anything. But, a man who takes the time to know a woman's heart whether he understands every detail or not is still priceless.

    I've briefly tried the online dating thing but did not have a good experience but a friend apparently has had some success here so I thought I'd give it a try too. I'd consider myself a pretty open & honest person. I'm great at communication so I promise to tell you if I like something or not, you'll never have to guess with me. While I have full custody of my son, I have a good relationship with his dad & step-mother, so my son can come & go pretty much as he pleases-so this can often leave me with nothing to do! The bike is a new hobby though & I try to go a little farther each time. When I'm indoors I'm slightly nerdy & might play a little playstation, read or catch up on some of my favorite shows. I'm open as long as there is time to talk & get to know each other, so maybe loud bars are out.
