I am a mother of 3 boys, 2 of which I have shared custody of, ages 8 and 6. My oldest is 17 and lives with his father full-time. Its been over two years since I've been in a relationship. I started dating back in the spring but nothing worked out. I see myself as a positive person who is adventurous, loving, fun, intelligent, and has decent sense of humor. I believe life is what you make it and I am making a decent one for myself. I enjoy socializing and getting to know people. I love learning. Life sure does throw out the opportunities to do so :-) I stay active. I enjoy hiking, camping, and anything outdoors really. I can pretty much get into any kind of sport. Backyard football, valley ball or whatever, they can be good times. I do enjoy rainy days that you can curl up on the sofa and watch movies or the occasional video game. Mario Kart rules! I am a health nut. I eat like a rabbit pretty much. This life style was forced on me due to some health issues. However, I am grateful for it. Overall I am really just enjoying life and trying to be the best I can be for those around me :-) I am looking for someone who loves life, who can be a part of mine and my children's life and enjoy doing so. I'm not looking for someone to be their father. They have a father who is very much a part of their lives. He must be a good communicator. I believe if the communication is not there its going to fail. Someone who is active and takes care of himself. Looks are not that important to me but there must be an attraction there. An animal lover would be a plus. I have a cat but I'm not really a cat person. Not inside anyway. I'm more of a dog person. This one changed my mind..she is pretty cool. I also have a little mixed breed dog. She just came into the family in the beginning of Sept. She is becoming my best friend! Confidence is a must! Not afraid to be real or afraid to talk about conflicts.Someone willing to go out of his way to let me know he cares. I can't read minds although sometimes I am pretty darn close! Not that I need to much but it definitely takes two to make it work. If he cares about me I need to know that :-) Someone who will challenge my intellect. I love learning. I am looking for smeone who is not on here because they have hit the age where "getting married and having kids" is what they should do with their life. I am looking for someone who has experienced enough trials and tribulations with dating and relationship breakdowns to know exactly what THEY want and deserve in a relationship, not just to "fit the norm". I already have the amazing kids, the cozy house the stability and what I want is someone to share a life with (eventually don't get scared). I believe many people after a marriage or breakup have a chip on their shoulders about relationships and I am the opposite. I am one of those people who would rather leave that bad energy at the door and go into each and every relationship giving 110% and with such honesty and without the games, if it doesn't work that's ok.... as long as it was honest and drama free, I won't regret it. I do believe that it is possible to be happy with the family life and not lose the love, energy and connection as a couple. Those kids and work can certainly suck the life right out of us some days but I am looking for my partner to be my rechargable battery at the end of a bad day or bad week and I would do the same for him. Reciporacation, honesty, generosity, leading by example, taking the higher road, self sustaining and trust I guess are my essentials. Hope that helps.
