Meeting new people is complicated by the combination of being a busy single parent who works two jobs, and being naturally rather antisocial! I am a very independent, determined, motivated woman who continues to push forward despite what life dishes out. I am cautious about who I allow into my life, because (not pessimism, realism!) let's face it, society has gone downhill and not many people have any morals or integrity anymore! Right now I am looking to make friends and get to know some new people, definitely not in a hurry to "hook up" or get into anything serious, as my luck with relationships historically has not been great. :) I find that unfortunately, many people portray themselves completely differently when you first meet them than how they ACTUALLY are... This is pointless and always blows up later!I am many things, but definitely never fake or dishonest. My personality can actually be a bit much for some people, and that's fine, to each his own... I have come to a point in life where I realize if people can't accept you for you, the only logical solution is to walk away.A sense of humor is a necessity in life! I am sarcastic but kind, friendly but shy... All depends on the mood, and the weather!I hate to do it, but to save us all time, I have to state that, sorry, I have a steadfast rule that I do not date younger guys.
