About Me

Well this should be easy....yeah right ! Who am I? I am a mom to the most adorable, well behaved, wonderful, amazing one year old (okay I may be a little biased). After the sudden death of my husband two years ago, I took sometime to redefine myself and who I am. I am now just ready to start meeting people and expand my horizons. I enjoy most things and love to try at least everything once. I love spending time outside and a nice hike or a day on the beach is definitely for me. I never knew that this was not a common thing...but I am not a fan of the typical "chick flick" movie...they really do not hold by attention and can usually put be to sleep. I do enjoy an action/adventure. end of the world type movie. As far as my personality goes....I can be VERY sarcastic and like a person who can give it right back to me :-) I am usually shy in new situations but can open up fairly easily. I get along with almost everyone and have a kind heart. Ideal first date: Going anywhere....it's all about the conversation and connection. Dinner is always fun. Nothing to high pressure and something you don't have to dress-up for. First dates in my opinion are better when you are comfortable and relaxed.

    Ok so I am very new to all of this, the online thing and dating in general. Recently out of a long term relationship and admittedly very gun shy.     I guess I may be a little old fashioned. I think that women should get flowers once in a while. I think that men should still hold the door. I think that communication and honesty are very simple, yet very neglected in todays world. In a relationship, just like everything else in life, you get what you put in. I've been on here a few months now, and I am becoming a little jaded myself at this point. The vast majority that I have come in contact with are pretty cool with trying to be deceptive. Doesn't work for most and it's not going to work with me either. If you want loyalty, love and respect, you should practice them as well. So....any people like that around? coffee or drinks
