I'm a third grade teacher with a little bit of a wild side! Some like to describe me as feisty! Aside from the blockbuster nights and the going out with friends cliche, I'm passionate and enthusiastic about the small things, the beach at 5 PM, the smell of spring, the changing of the seasons, pancakes and peanut butter (not necessarily together), my four-legged friends, FAMILY and FRIENDS, conversations about anything, everything, and even nothing, workout highs, a glass of wine, great finds at garage sales, MOM'S COOKING, a day in the park, THE BEACH, Sunday brunch, snowdays, a good book, HAPPY HOURS after long weeks, a great cup of coffee, did I mention pancakes? each and every one of my students, crying at movies, EATING, laughing till my sides hurt, flying on airplanes preferably somewhere warm, PEOPLE WATCHING, dancing, playing scrabble, SNUGGLING, running, musicals, Yankee games, horseback riding, and hiking. If I think of anything else I'll let you know. My ideal match? Someone who can enjoy all the above mentioned and more. I have a lust for life and I'm looking for someone with the same!     "Something wonderful is about to happen to you today" but I keep getting "the fortune you seek is in another cookie" :) How to describe myself...I would say I am laid back and fun most of the time; I try not to stress about the little stuff and seek out the positives in a situation.     Well this should be easy....yeah right ! Who am I? I am a mom to the most adorable, well behaved, wonderful, amazing one year old (okay I may be a little biased). After the sudden death of my husband two years ago, I took sometime to redefine myself and who I am. I am now just ready to start meeting people and expand my horizons. I enjoy most things and love to try at least everything once. I love spending time outside and a nice hike or a day on the beach is definitely for me. I never knew that this was not a common thing...but I am not a fan of the typical "chick flick" movie...they really do not hold by attention and can usually put be to sleep. I do enjoy an action/adventure. end of the world type movie. As far as my personality goes....I can be VERY sarcastic and like a person who can give it right back to me :-) I am usually shy in new situations but can open up fairly easily. I get along with almost everyone and have a kind heart. Ideal first date: Going anywhere....it's all about the conversation and connection. Dinner is always fun. Nothing to high pressure and something you don't have to dress-up for. First dates in my opinion are better when you are comfortable and relaxed.
