I'm incredibly selective when it comes to music (if you like Nickleback, it's a deal-breaker). I guess what I listen to can be best described as indie dance rock, although I'm not entirely sure that it's a real category. I get really excited when I watch hockey and football...it usually leads to me swearing at the tv.My family is pretty much amazing, and my friends are fantastic. I consider myself very lucky to have them in my life.I love traveling, but haven't seen nearly enough of the world. It's my dream to take a summer off and go backpacking in Europe.I just finished my last semester of graduate courses, and am currently working on my thesis...this means that my time is somewhat limited.What I value/look for: intelligence and razor sharp wit are tops on my list. honesty, integrity, ambition, and a certain level of geekiness...also good things. someone who won't get his knickers in a bunch if I can't hang out for a week due to reading/research...school comes first. I should also throw it out there that if you begin your message with "what's up sexy?" or a variation of that, or have terrible spelling/grammar you probably won't get a response out of me. In addition, if you have pictures of yourself flexing your muscles, you should know that it's not attractive...it's ridiculous. cocktails and conversation.

    Well this should be easy....yeah right ! Who am I? I am a mom to the most adorable, well behaved, wonderful, amazing one year old (okay I may be a little biased). After the sudden death of my husband two years ago, I took sometime to redefine myself and who I am. I am now just ready to start meeting people and expand my horizons. I enjoy most things and love to try at least everything once. I love spending time outside and a nice hike or a day on the beach is definitely for me. I never knew that this was not a common thing...but I am not a fan of the typical "chick flick" movie...they really do not hold by attention and can usually put be to sleep. I do enjoy an action/adventure. end of the world type movie. As far as my personality goes....I can be VERY sarcastic and like a person who can give it right back to me :-) I am usually shy in new situations but can open up fairly easily. I get along with almost everyone and have a kind heart. Ideal first date: Going anywhere....it's all about the conversation and connection. Dinner is always fun. Nothing to high pressure and something you don't have to dress-up for. First dates in my opinion are better when you are comfortable and relaxed.
