I am an intelligent, interested, funny girl. I have a lot of different interests. I enjoy playing board games (I would like to meet someone to challenge me at Scrabble). I like to cook a lot. My friends like it a lot when I cook. I sew, knit, and quilt. I enjoy reading when I find the motivation. I like the classics, greek tragedies, mythology and sci-fi. I like a lot of different music styles from true Rock and Roll, 80's and 90's, Indie, Hip Hop... I could go on, but I hope you get the point. I try to keep up on movies and TV (esp. Sci-fi and comedies). I like to go out every now and then, but sometimes I just want to hang out at home. I try to workout on a regular basis, but i wouldn't go so far as to say that I enjoy it. I don't usually keep up with sports, unless it's KU basketball. I always have fun camping with friends or going to the lake.I graduated from KU with a BS in Microbiology and am happy to say I am working in my field. I also have a Cosmetology license and do some hair styling on the side. Throughout the course of my life I have had a lot of different types of jobs, I value the experiences and people I have met along the way.I am interested in meeting a man that is responsible but doesn't take life too seriously. It is important to me that you seek God in your life and want to improve your relationship with him. A sense of humor and acceptance of sarcasm is a must.     First of all, picking ONE word that describes me on that choice up above drove me nuts.. im at least a solid 8 of those things!i will always see the funnier side of things. I like to always see the brighter side of people, even to a fault. My hobbies are random, i like to try everything once. I'm really hard to describe in a paragraph... i feel like getting to know me in person in better than me telling you what i think will impress you. :)ok, i officially got tired of explaining all my "random hobbies" so here are 10 random facts about me : 1) i am really good at video games.2) i'm really competitive, and totally a sore winner.3) I always get the gimpy shopping cart, end up ditching it in a random aisle and *** getting a new one i tend to just carry all of items to the front register. (this one actually saves me a ton of money***i cook a lot, and when I am really into someone, i cook for them all the time. (i make homemade sauce so good it would make you smack your momma.***i hate clubs. I used to love them, but now would rather be in a local bar with a few friends.6) I love funny movies. I quote them a lot, particularly dumb and dumber and any movie with Will Ferrell in it. My favorite part of any movie is always the bloopers.7) I say "thats what she said" at the most innapropriate times. i.e. My mom called me to talk about a golf course that her and my step dad played on and how it was too long and hard. 8) I dont think of myself as super girly, cause I love watching/playing sports, i can change my own flat tires, and even put up my own shelves in apartment. But then again, the shelves I put up did have some pink in them..9) I'm not superstitious, but Id rather not risk it, so I avoid walking under ladders and will also lift my feet when in a car driving past a cemetary.***I would secretly would really like to have a boyfriend that would save me from flat tires and putting up shelves, even though i know how.#***bonus) I think im a confident person, but everytime i see whos viewed me and i see someone that didnt send me a message it makes me want to *** ask them wheres the beef.#***another bonus) I have checked out my competition on here, and i am 100% sure i can beat any of them in a breakdance battle. ok, maybe not a breakdance battle but a "walk-off" definitely.really what it all comes down to is that I am just looking for the person I can be excited about.     Now for the fun bit because everyone loves talking about themselves!! The proof is in the meeting but here's a taster!I am pretty straight talking and positive. I have quite a few interests to keep me out of trouble and a great gang of family and friends, who usually say nice things about me (I make sure they're well paid). I also managed to find a job I love, with more importantly, holidays I love even more! Travelling is always a good idea so I've been to a few continents - Asia is next on the list. I love a good adventure and even though I am not going to pretend that I am actually skilled at anything outdoorsy I have had a lot of fun on sea and land. I will try most things once - except a bungy jump (I like my eyeballs safely in their sockets***and am always open to suggestions.
