I am an intelligent, interested, funny girl. I have a lot of different interests. I enjoy playing board games (I would like to meet someone to challenge me at Scrabble). I like to cook a lot. My friends like it a lot when I cook. I sew, knit, and quilt. I enjoy reading when I find the motivation. I like the classics, greek tragedies, mythology and sci-fi. Sci-fi and comedies). I like to go out every now and then, but sometimes I just want to hang out at home. I try to workout on a regular basis, but i wouldn't go so far as to say that I enjoy it. I don't usually keep up with sports, unless it's KU basketball. I always have fun camping with friends or going to the lake.I graduated from KU with a BS in Microbiology and am happy to say I am working in my field. I also have a Cosmetology license and do some hair styling on the side. Throughout the course of my life I have had a lot of different types of jobs, I value the experiences and people I have met along the way.I am interested in meeting a man that is responsible but doesn't take life too seriously. It is important to me that you seek God in your life and want to improve your relationship with him. A sense of humor and acceptance of sarcasm is a must. I get bored when I just text or e-mail someone back and forth when I've never met them. I think the first date should be brief, so we can just get an idea about each other. Grabbing a drink, maybe playing some pool. Or coffee and a walk. Something casual with the ability to communicate.

I'm trying this out because I've got a very full life and that makes meeting new people difficult at times. In the summer I spend as much time possible camping wherever I can. I like to be active and I have entered a few triathlons (how I loathe that swim). I'm not a crazy fitness nut, but I do like to take on a new challenge each year. It keeps me motivated and also makes training more fun. I have met some nice people on here, and my experiences have only been good ones so far, I just haven't quite found what I'm looking for yet.I am quiet and outgoing all at the same time. I like to be around my friends and family and enjoy a really good night out but I need my "me" time as well. There is nothing better than a rainy sunday curled up on the couch with a good book (also a great cure for the rare hangover).I like all kinds of music and my ipod is VERY random but I like it that way..I get bored with just one type of music. BLooking for someone who is funny, easygoing and kind. I love a good sense of humour. As long as those things are there, we'll likely get along :) Depends. In the summer it's great to be able to go and hang out down by the river or take in an outdoor event, there's always lots to do in the city.
