Hi, I've signed up for this site hoping there is strength in numbers :) I really want to meet someone who shares my interests but I think it is important to have separate hobbies/interests as well. Someone who challenges me is always appreciated.I have a great network of friends in Calgary, but unfortunately most are attached and not a great help with my dating life :)On my days off I love to get away to the mountains to hike or BC to go boating/camping with friends.     I think there is an initial shock of having to be on meetville just to meet/talk to someone. Needless to say, the thought of asking someone in a grocery store about cantaloupe ripeness, is also frightening; I have decided this is the lesser of two evils. About me....I am a dedicated mother of one busy toddler, when I say dedicated I mean you will not find me in the bars weekly...or monthly for that matter.
