As you can see, my interests are vast, and I'm always open to adding to them. I both like to plan adventures and drop everything and just do something fun. This summer I have hiked up The Chief twice so far (third peak) and I am wanting to try out some new mountain trails, plus do the Grouse Grindagain. I spend a lot of time walking around lakes, reading, swimming, painting and writing on my own, but with friends I love lake side BBQing, boating, going to all kinds of festivals and concerts, kayaking, playing board games, having dinner/dance parties, campfires, and meeting new people. I have travelled quite a bit as week long vacations, and that's always great fun, but my favorite travels were tenting in 18 countries through Europe, and I would love to do that again, hopefully soon. I'd like to meet someone who is fun, interesting, outgoing and charismatic, with a fantastic sence of humor, positive outlook, and integrity. With every year that passes, I find myself getting less and less judgmental of others, and so I would like to be around accepting and open minded people as well. I like to take care of my health, stay fairly active and try to maintain a balance of recreation and leisure, with goal setting and achievements. I'm open to meeting all types of personalities, however I will be far less compatible with guys who smoke, are into one night stands, "hardcore partying", or can't hold an intelligent conversation. Although I do really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing things through fresh eyes, my end goal is to have a quality, mutually rewarding, long term relationship. I was so shy growing up that I didn't start taking ballet until I was in my early twenties. I've since stopped ballet, but I really enjoy the three modern dance classes I take each week. They say a smile can start on the face, that just by moving the muscles you can influence your emotions and will feel happier. I feel so much more alive and positive because I dance.I am a photographer. I love taking photos, especially of people. One day I'd like to start making money at it, but right now I still need a lot more practice. I do often go for walks without my camera, but I see shots everywhere. I sometimes like the free weekly iTunes or Starbucks song, which might mean I have hipster tastes in music. I am one of those people who when they hear a new song they like, listens to it on repeat over and over again until I know it by heart. And there's something special about listening to a voice quietly singing along to an acoustic guitar (like Ed Sheeran). One day I'd like to learn to play guitar. I'm hoping to date a man who is : taller than me, doesn't smoke, lives independently, has a job, is not a student, drives a vehicle (not only a motorcycle), is interesting to talk with, and is active. I want a boyfriend to spoil, to indulge in, to cuddle with, to watch sunsets with, and to let him know that he is loved. Someone to have some adventures with, to explore with. I dream about going to Tofino with a boyfriend. Seems like a really small thing, but I've never been and keep saving it as a special place to go with someone I love. Some friends think I'm nuts, but the ones who truly know me understand. First meeting will most likely be picking up a coffee and having a chat. If that goes well (you like me & I like you), then we could have a first date. Food and talking is always going to over well with me. Brunch or lunch or dinner and a stroll.
