OK...I updated and posted pictures to my profile...now its time to actually take a few minutes and write something more here! ....but what to say?! gah!Well...the 2 most important things to me? my kids and my animals, so if you have a problem with either of those stop reading now and look at some of the more shallow profiles :P I have 2 amazing kids that are my world, and we have a minature zoo...2 dogs, a cat, 2 yellow sided conures (birds...minature parrots), a guinea pig, a giant chameleon (altho hes not very giant because he's still a baby), 2 hamsters, pirahnas, and angel fish (in seperate tanks obviously lol). I work full time and raise my kids on my own, so don't get tons of free time. My friends would describe me as somewhat shy sweet honest caring and faithful. I'm not much of a winter person....it's too cold, I'd rather hibernate...watch movies....read...nice warm indoor things lol...In the summer tho i love going to lakes or waterfalls or any pretty places. I hate spiders with a passion....Raid spider spray is my very best friend. haha...and i'm counting down the years until my chameleon is full grown and can wander my house freely eating any spiders that dare to trespass! LOL. I'm not a huge partyer but i do like to get out and have fun. I love all types of music, theres a gendre of music for every mood possible!Not too sure what else to write about myself, that pretty well covers the basics....so weather you think you want to get to know me as a friend, or more lets chat and get to know one another! But please....I am 100% NOT into "hooking up" or "friends with benefits" or "intimate encounters" or any of those things, so if thats what u want lets not waste either of our time! (P.S. I am a kind and generous person. I have a small circles of friends that I love spending time with. I really enjoy a good conversation. I fairly practical and organized. I'm loyal and thoughtful. Hiking, long bike rides, ferry to an island. I keep meaning to drive up to Lake Cowichan and go kayaking or paddle boarding - but these would be a lot more fun to do with someone special. Keeping active and moving is important to me, I walk to and from work each day and I think the fresh air is part of the reason why I have so far avoided catching the flu. I love to dance. I was so shy growing up that I didn't start taking ballet until I was in my early twenties. I've since stopped ballet, but I really enjoy the three modern dance classes I take each week. They say a smile can start on the face, that just by moving the muscles you can influence your emotions and will feel happier. I feel so much more alive and positive because I dance.I am a photographer. I love taking photos, especially of people. One day I'd like to start making money at it, but right now I still need a lot more practice. I do often go for walks without my camera, but I see shots everywhere. I sometimes like the free weekly iTunes or Starbucks song, which might mean I have hipster tastes in music. I am one of those people who when they hear a new song they like, listens to it on repeat over and over again until I know it by heart. And there's something special about listening to a voice quietly singing along to an acoustic guitar (like Ed Sheeran). One day I'd like to learn to play guitar. I'm hoping to date a man who is : taller than me, doesn't smoke, lives independently, has a job, is not a student, drives a vehicle (not only a motorcycle), is interesting to talk with, and is active. I want a boyfriend to spoil, to indulge in, to cuddle with, to watch sunsets with, and to let him know that he is loved. Someone to have some adventures with, to explore with. I dream about going to Tofino with a boyfriend. Seems like a really small thing, but I've never been and keep saving it as a special place to go with someone I love. Some friends think I'm nuts, but the ones who truly know me understand. First meeting will most likely be picking up a coffee and having a chat. If that goes well (you like me & I like you), then we could have a first date. Food and talking is always going to over well with me. Brunch or lunch or dinner and a stroll.
