About Me

There are different kind of relationships between people. Some of them are based on utility, another ones on pleasure. I prefer to build relationships that are based on mutual respect and common interests, because I think this kind of connection last longer then anything else. Thus, my top three priorities are career, family and healthy lifestyle which include such things as being vegetarian, not smoking, and doing a wide range of summer and winter sports. In particular, you can find me hiking and biking in a summer and skating, skiing and snowshoeing in a winter.In addition, I enjoy playing racket sports and doing yoga flows all year round. Aside from that I actively participate in the life of the community by attending and volunteering at different cultural and social events.As for music, I prefer jazz and folk and don't mind rock.I like to travel and to explore new places and feel equally comfortable being an organizer of a trip or a tourist.     I am 35 and back on the dating scene again after a short hiatus. I opened my own small dog grooming business a few months ago and keep busy with that. I am confident in myself and in life, and I am happy where I am. I'm not a headcase or a game player, I really don't have time for that. Although all this sounds very serious and down to business, that's not all of who I am. I am looking for a serious relationship, but not in the intense serious kind of way. Along with sporty stuff, I also need my down time. I love to read, and do anything crafty or creative. I've just started taking guitar lessons as well (and wow, am I bad at it). I do drink socially, and don't mind if you do as well, but I'm not interested in someone who is a daily drinker. I have been vegetarian for almost 10 years and eat vegan at home (but you can eat whatever you want). I don't smoke and can't date a smoker. I don't do any drugs, well, mushrooms once in a blue moon :) But I need to be really comfortable with someone before I'll go there. My life goal is just to enjoy it! I work a lot right now, but am hoping that it pays off in the long run. Even though I love my job, it is still a job, and I love time off and doing things more. And I guess that is my goal. To have my business running successfully enough that I don't have to be there all time! I would rather be out enjoying life and laughing with someone beside me :)I am looking for a man who is confident and secure. He needs to be more on the assertive side and not be shy. Physical attraction is very important to me, so I'm just going to list a few of the things that are deal breakers for me... You have to be at least a few inches taller than me, you need to be at least slightly athletic, you need to not shave your chest (or at least be willing to grow it back), and no smokers!!!!! A first date doesn't need to be craziness! I think something where conversation is encouraged, and getting to know one another.     Okay so updating my profile because it was awful.I have a great life and love everything that I have accomplished and been involved in but I am at a point where I would like to have someone in my life that compliments my life and that I can enjoy doing different activities with.Sports and an active life style are very important to me. I play soccer, basketball and volleyball and have since I was 5 years old. I also enjoy hiking, running and just being active in general. I also love watching most sports…my top are football, soccer, basketball and hockey. I am sometimes that girl at dinner that will sneak a peek at the TV to see what is happening in the game.I have a very close family and spending time with my 3 nephews and niece is a priority for me. They keep me on my toes!My career…I love it and will share what I do with the right person but I am not comfortable posting it.
