Hmm, I hate this part, as I am sure most of you out there do. First off I have 2 wonderful girls ages 10 and 11, they live with me full time, I am very family orientated and spend a lot of time with them.So I have been recently told that I am intimidating, I look at my self and I don't see it. So can someone please tell me why I am intimidating to talk to???? To be honest I am not sure what I am really looking for right at the moment. Start as friends and hang out, talk have fun would be good. I have lots of interests that range from reading to exploring. You want to know more than ask, I am not going to give you all the info here, yes I am going to make you actually use your keyboard and write. It tells me to talk about goals and aspiration once again ask, that is something that comes up in a naturally flowing conversation. Yes I am sarcastic and sassy, I am honest, I have my sweet side, I have a good sense of humor, I am fairly easy going and I have a brain that I do actually use. As for music my interest is a wide range. I read, I write, like all different movies, mostly action or thrillers for the most part. I am told I am a very interesting person, I can generally hold my own in a conversation even if its something I have no idea about.......Next few sentences may sound like I am bitter hardly I just have a very low BS tolerance**I have to laugh not sure what brings me back to this site. People say they are looking to chat, get to know people, I will try to start a conversation, and yet no response, If your only looking to chat does it really matter what the other person looks like. It's the same thing as looking to hang out, not looking for a commitment or anything when it comes down to it if your looking for friends DOES IT REALLY MATTER what that person looks like? Correct answer being NO!Oct.4,***Looking through profiles I find it hilarious that users without pics, demand that a person needs to have a pic to contact them....when only looking for friends...WTF....will never understand peoples mind set.**Now for the rest of you that are going on about finding the one, hate to break it to you but some supermodel isn't going to be sitting on the other side of the screen, so those for you that are looking for some perfect barbie looking trophy you are going to be sadly disappointed.** And those of you that are ***grow up, get out of the midlife crisis phase, take a look around you, you live in the Cariboo. Most of us women here are cariboofied, and those that haven't lived here long well they will be cariboofied in no time at all. Look beyond what is on the outside cause you ain't going to be pretty in another 20 to 30 years either. **This is not my first time here, I am not dumb, so please don't treat me as if I am. I try to live by 2 rules :#1: Treat others the way we want to be treated. #2: If you can't say anything nice than don't say anything at all. Screw the first date, let's just go find something to do and chill.

    I am 35 and back on the dating scene again after a short hiatus. I opened my own small dog grooming business a few months ago and keep busy with that. I am confident in myself and in life, and I am happy where I am. I'm not a headcase or a game player, I really don't have time for that. I love to keep busy, and would love someone to help keep me busy. I am into river kayaking, and am trying hard to improve at that right now. I have been experimenting a bit with dragon boating for a short time. I enjoy indoor rock climbing (but with no partner I haven't done it in a while), and I'm not adverse to learning outdoor. Along with sporty stuff, I also need my down time. I love to read, and do anything crafty or creative. I've just started taking guitar lessons as well (and wow, am I bad at it). I do drink socially, and don't mind if you do as well, but I'm not interested in someone who is a daily drinker. I have been vegetarian for almost 10 years and eat vegan at home (but you can eat whatever you want). I don't smoke and can't date a smoker. I don't do any drugs, well, mushrooms once in a blue moon :) But I need to be really comfortable with someone before I'll go there. My life goal is just to enjoy it! I work a lot right now, but am hoping that it pays off in the long run. Even though I love my job, it is still a job, and I love time off and doing things more. And I guess that is my goal. To have my business running successfully enough that I don't have to be there all time! I would rather be out enjoying life and laughing with someone beside me :)I am looking for a man who is confident and secure. He needs to be more on the assertive side and not be shy. Physical attraction is very important to me, so I'm just going to list a few of the things that are deal breakers for me... You have to be at least a few inches taller than me, you need to be at least slightly athletic, you need to not shave your chest (or at least be willing to grow it back), and no smokers!!!!! As well, I need to know that you have read my profile before you message me :) So include the word "; in your message so I know you've read this. As well..... no picture, no reply. A first date doesn't need to be craziness! I think something where conversation is encouraged, and getting to know one another. I think a first date is enough of a new experience that you don't need to add more to it. Just coffee, maybe some drinks, and conversation is all I require.

    I am a fairly outgoing girl who enjoys hanging out with my friends on the weekends either going out for dinner and drinks or enjoying a nice bottle of wine at home while cooking dinner with my friends or family and just relaxing. I have 3 young nephews who I adore and are a big part of my life so any chance I have to spend with them I take it :) I love going out to see music concerts but I prefer it when it's a smaller venue, I like seeing a band before they make it big but I don't mind if it's a big crazy concert either. I have a snowboard that I've barely used so I'd like to make use of it soon :)I lived overseas for a few years and really like to travel. I think it broadens your horizons and if I could afford it or afford the time off of work I would travel more often..I enjoy going on road trips, I think it's fun getting out of town even if it's just a mini holiday, being spontaneous never hurt anyone :) I love to laugh but really who doesn't!. I'm not into the negative stuff, no drama needed! Men with bedazzled t-shirts need not apply. I have zero interest in getting to know someone who is dishonest or full of themselves. I don't necessarily have a "type". Everyone says, a sense of humour is a big turn on and I agree. If a guy can make me laugh it's a good start.
