Hmm, I hate this part, as I am sure most of you out there do. First off I have 2 wonderful girls ages 10 and 11, they live with me full time, I am very family orientated and spend a lot of time with them.So I have been recently told that I am intimidating, I look at my self and I don't see it. So can someone please tell me why I am intimidating to talk to???? To be honest I am not sure what I am really looking for right at the moment. Start as friends and hang out, talk have fun would be good. I have lots of interests that range from reading to exploring. You want to know more than ask, I am not going to give you all the info here, yes I am going to make you actually use your keyboard and write. It tells me to talk about goals and aspiration once again ask, that is something that comes up in a naturally flowing conversation. Yes I am sarcastic and sassy, I am honest, I have my sweet side, I have a good sense of humor, I am fairly easy going and I have a brain that I do actually use. As for music my interest is a wide range. I read, I write, like all different movies, mostly action or thrillers for the most part. I am told I am a very interesting person, I can generally hold my own in a conversation even if its something I have no idea about.......Next few sentences may sound like I am bitter hardly I just have a very low BS tolerance**I have to laugh not sure what brings me back to this site. People say they are looking to chat, get to know people, I will try to start a conversation, and yet no response, If your only looking to chat does it really matter what the other person looks like. It's the same thing as looking to hang out, not looking for a commitment or anything when it comes down to it if your looking for friends DOES IT REALLY MATTER what that person looks like? Correct answer being NO!Oct.4,***Looking through profiles I find it hilarious that users without pics, demand that a person needs to have a pic to contact them....when only looking for friends...WTF....will never understand peoples mind set.**Now for the rest of you that are going on about finding the one, hate to break it to you but some supermodel isn't going to be sitting on the other side of the screen, so those for you that are looking for some perfect barbie looking trophy you are going to be sadly disappointed.** And those of you that are ***grow up, get out of the midlife crisis phase, take a look around you, you live in the Cariboo. Most of us women here are cariboofied, and those that haven't lived here long well they will be cariboofied in no time at all. Look beyond what is on the outside cause you ain't going to be pretty in another 20 to 30 years either. **This is not my first time here, I am not dumb, so please don't treat me as if I am. I try to live by 2 rules :#1: Treat others the way we want to be treated. #2: If you can't say anything nice than don't say anything at all. Screw the first date, let's just go find something to do and chill.

    OK...I updated and posted pictures to my profile...now its time to actually take a few minutes and write something more here! ....but what to say?! gah!Well...the 2 most important things to me? my kids and my animals, so if you have a problem with either of those stop reading now and look at some of the more shallow profiles :P I have 2 amazing kids that are my world, and we have a minature zoo...2 dogs, a cat, 2 yellow sided conures (birds...minature parrots), a guinea pig, a giant chameleon (altho hes not very giant because he's still a baby), 2 hamsters, pirahnas, and angel fish (in seperate tanks obviously lol). I work full time and raise my kids on my own, so don't get tons of free time. My friends would describe me as somewhat shy sweet honest caring and faithful. I'm not much of a winter person....it's too cold, I'd rather hibernate...watch movies....read...nice warm indoor things lol...In the summer tho i love going to lakes or waterfalls or any pretty places. I hate spiders with a passion....Raid spider spray is my very best friend. haha...and i'm counting down the years until my chameleon is full grown and can wander my house freely eating any spiders that dare to trespass! LOL. I'm not a huge partyer but i do like to get out and have fun. I love all types of music, theres a gendre of music for every mood possible!Not too sure what else to write about myself, that pretty well covers the basics....so weather you think you want to get to know me as a friend, or more lets chat and get to know one another! But please....I am 100% NOT into "hooking up" or "friends with benefits" or "intimate encounters" or any of those things, so if thats what u want lets not waste either of our time! (P.S.     Back in John after an incredible summer off...I work as a medic in the oilfield but I recently finished taking my Safety Officer and Rescue training so I'm hoping to get into a Safety position on my next project. I love to travel, whether it's just to the nearest lake, a road trip across country, a vacation down south or to somewhere exotic. But most of all I like to have a good time where ever I am. I like to have fun and meet new people. I work a lot and am usually on the move to somewhere or other when I'm not working. im not looking to settle down by any means but it might be nice to have a partner in crime along for some of my shenanigans ;)What I'm looking for is people to spend time with doing fun things in the summer like fishing, camping, hiking, etc.... I like to go out on the river (if you have a boat) or on a quad (if you have a quad). I really like to cook (especially with a glass of wine in hand) and in the winter i ski (down hill or x-country). When the weather is nice I like to be outside and I would much rather go fishing then shopping! I enjoy a good BBQ (who doesn't though?). And I really like to laugh and have a good time wherever I am. Well in my experience I have found the best place to meet for a first date is usually at a pub for a drink and an appetizer. Its laid back that way and a few beverages usually help ease the getting to know you awkwardness.
