I am a single mother to a beautiful child who is my life, my love, my everything. My life changed for the better because of my child. I also work full time so I would definitely be looking for someone with a similar home life as myself, someone who understands that my child comes first but my heart still has room for that special someone. I do however enjoy a nice glass of wine, watching movies and some tv programs, outdoor activities, reading, shopping, and of course spending time with friends and family. I love to laugh so I am definitely interested in someone with a great sense of humour. Professionally, I have achieved my goal of becoming a teacher. I find my role right now challenging, and no two days are alike. Personally, I acheived my greatest goal in life when I had my child. Although I am proud of my accomplishments, there is definitely still a piece missing in my personal life, which is why I am here! I would love to find that special someone to complete my life. I always find sites like these to be really difficult, especially when asked to write about yourself, or basically, sell yourself in so many words. I think everyone is unique in their own way, and I think dating is a chance to find out for yourself what makes your partner unique, so I don't really want to ramble on here, like I'm filling out an application or something!! I like to get to know people in person, since so much gets lost in translation on these sites! That being said, if you're interested in getting to know me better, I'd love to hear from you!! :) I think the best first dates are something simple, like coffee, drinks, or appetizers. These kind of dates aren't huge time commitments but give a chace to get to know your date a little. They can progress into something more - lunch or dinner and helps to decide what to do for date 2!

I hate these things just an FYI. I work for the army as a civilian and absolutely love working for them. I worked for TSA before that for 7 years and hated that. I was a foster parent for 5 years and found it to be very rewarding and eventually would like to do it again. From doing foster care I adopted my son who is 7. I'm so greatful he s in my life. He teaches me that you can overcome any obstacle that is put in your way.. The first 5 years of his childhood where horrible and he has came so far. I do want kids of my own. I come from a crazy loud Irish family and couldn't I imagine only have one or two kids. I'm pretty much down for any type of activity or hobby as long as it doesnt involve small enclosed places and any techno music. Lol. I love to travel and usually go on two to three big vacations a year. My son has probably been more places then most kids his age. LolI'm looking for my soulmate and best friend. Along the way if I make some new friends that would be awesome. I'm not looking for one night stands or sexual encounters and most important drama. I have respect for my self and body. If you are a convicted criminal, don't have a driver license or a car please keep on moving. I don't mean to sound mean but those are things at my age that are unacceptable. Oh and if you don't want kids or don't like kids keep on moving. My little guy will always come first.
