I'm a jeans and tee girl and not afraid to get my hands dirty!I volunteer with a charity that has allowed me to travel twice each to Haiti, El Salvador, the Peruvian Amazon and once to Zimbabwe. Each time we provided free medical care to those people who might otherwise not have access to any medical care. Music is an escape for me. I believe most situations can be expressed or reflected upon with a song. I use music as therapy to deal with all types of situations - if I don't feel my own words would properly express my thoughts or feelings, I usually have a song that does. I like to do stuff. And I like things. Stuff and things like hockey and running. I listen to music. I read. You know...the same crap that everyone else puts on here. But maybe the books I read and the music I listen to is different. I like to travel. My favourite country so far is Barbados...I have been there 5 times. I play the flute, but I have never been to band camp.There's a lot more to me than just stuff and things. Want to know about them? Then ask me. :) I don't bite. This part is always the hardest...but I will give it a shot. I enjoy movies whether it be watching them in a theatre or a nice quiet night at home. I really enjoy sports...any kind. Love being at the lake at the lake during the summer...no where better then being on a boat on the water with a fishing rod in my hand!!!I am a single parent of a wonderful young man. He is my world and my number one!! He makes me a better person!!I like all kinds of music so not too picky on that front. I work on the medical field and love my job. I am not looking for one night stands so if you are keeping on looking. It seems hard to find genuine people on this site but I haven't given up hope...yet!! Lol
