Where do I begin.. I really am not one to type stuff out, I have no problems with regular conversation that comes naturally but how long do ppl really sit and think about what they are going to put down about themselves?!?! I think I just already wasted 10 minutes and this is all I could think of putting down. LOL I used to have a few little blurbs about why im on here but really everyone is basically on here for the same reason, to meet people! I mean how else do you meet ppl anymore really? So here's a little bit of info about me and what im looking and NOT looking for. Short and sweet. :) me stuff:I'm a pretty laid back and content chickI like trying to keep busy with new things (I get bored easily)..not much of a planner, I prefer last minute (within reason) rather then map everything outpatios and outdoor concerts are lovely i like to avoid conflict and drama as much as possible but I also do not like having to deal with those who are unable to address an issue.-oh, and really great hair!past my wild child days and while rocking out into the wee hours of the morning is great on occasion I typically prefer a few drinks and good conversation. Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile! I think like most people this is the most difficult section to fill out but here goes nothing.....I'm hoping to meet someone who is serious about finding a lasting relationship and building a future. Someone who comes from a good family and has his head on straight and can make laugh until I cry. I think family is #1 and hope to have one of my own someday.I have a job I enjoy and work really hard at. In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends, take long walks, watch movies, try new restaurants (especially in the summer when I can sit on a patio!) I'm also a bit of a reality tv junkie :) I'm not a big sports fan, but I do enjoy going to live sporting events, I think the atmosphere is just amazing. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, especially with a glass of wine or two ;) I love to travel and have been to many places but there are many more to see and would be nice to share those experiences with someone.Good luck to everybody in their search! Something simple...we can decide together.

I'm newly separated from my husband after 13 years, and looking to rejoin the social scene. I have 2 children, ages 9 and 3, I work, I go to school full time, and my kids and I are in a musical, so my time is limited and my schedule is hectic, but I'd like to meet a nice guy to hang around with. Nothing serious. Definitely not looking to jump right into another relationship, but I've never really been single, and I know NOTHING about the dating scene. In all honesty, I'm quite socially akward, but getting better, I think. I like to go out (but don't often get the chance) or stay in. I like a good movie, especially suspense, cheesy horror, and comedy. I'm a "reader." My favorite author is Steven King, and if you've read Dark Tower, you're already leaps and bounds above the "competition," so let me know! I love just about any kind of music, but lean toward rock/hard rock/alternative. I went through about a decade long goth phase, so you can assume I like most of those cliche's (velvet and lace, dark music/movies/books, vampires [not Twlight!], halloween, etc.) though I was never much for trendy. I was already an outcast, and halloween was my favorite time of year, so after dying the hair black for a haunted house job, it just kind of worked out that way.I'm an open book, and tend to overdiscuss things. I like to know what people are thinking about everything at every given point. The hardest part of my transition into the social scene has been this concept of "going with the flow." I may not be looking for a relationship, but I would like to know that a person I'm spending time with appreciates my company. If you can't make an effort to let me know either in word or action, please don't bother messaging me. I don't need constant reassurance, but I certainly don't want to waste my time bugging someone who doesn't want to be bugged. On that note, I am persistant, but generally assume the worst if I don't know what's going on. (Thus the overdiscussing)Now that I've probably scared everyone away, on to lighter things: I like theater and musicals, I love stand-up comedy and cult classics. I don't have pets, but I'd like a kitten. I'm a bleeding-heart liberal who can admit that our govt. has gotten out of hand. I have an associates in Criminal Justice and am working toward my bachelors, but I'm no longer sure what I want to do with my degree. I'm a barista/bartender at a great place in a small town. I don't make nearly enough money. I'd love to travel, but never really have. I LOVE road trips! I like to be spontaneous, but it's especially tough with a kid in school. I'm horribly indecisive, but once I make a decision, I stick with it. I have no problem admitting I'm wrong, but I'll argue till I'm out of breath if I think I'm right. My family is the most important thing to me. My children come first in every decision. The rest of my family is all in town too. I'm a small-town girl through and through, though I enjoy the buzz of the city.My goal for now is just to find a nice guy to spend time with. Someone who appreciates honesty and communication, and isn't into playing mind games. A sense of humor and adventure are important, and remember, sleep is for the weak. Something very casual. Coffee in the park or a few drinks out. A museum would be lovely if you're so inclined. Somewhere we can talk and get to know each other a bit. Movie dates stink.
