Average doesn't mean you got a big ole gut and a flabby ass! Athletic means you have a muscular body (not some muscle buried under a bunch of fat!). First of all my time is precious (so is yours) and I don't appreciate losing any of it. I am a huge fan of grainy 80s movies in addition to 80s music. I enjoy movies and I watch shows like Desperate Housewives and Glee. Big fan of 2 TVs in the house--that way, while you watch sports (unless its hockey or football) I can watch what I like to watch too!Music is a blessing. I enjoy all types (well OK I tolerate country and am learning to like it) but mostly I am trance and house junkie.I have a very colorful background. If you don't want to hear the stories about the madness of my youth, move on! I talk to some of my x's-I hope you do too. My best friend is a guy. These things aren't changing. If you can't spell--don't bother. If you can't have an intelligent conversation please don't waste my time! If you are lazy and/or unemployed, live with your mom or dad, are in the middle of a divorce (this means separated too!!!), have jealousy issues or really any issue with me going out with my friends get-lost!I am NOT religious in a traditional sense--will never be (I am a pantheist). Don't thump me in the head with a bible! I think the coolest thing is the diversity that religion offers--I am ashamed of those who think that what they believe is any better than the rest! I do believe in the 10 commandments--if that helps.Politics...hmmmm. Probably a liberal on the conservative side. I seem to get more conservative as I get older.If you have pictures of your kids on THIS website there is something wrong with you and I would prefer never to hear from you. Please don't allow your children to be the awwww factor--It is just plain gross! They shouldn't even meet a new "friend" until a few months into a relationship.Your opinion is just as important as mine.Honesty is the best policy! Somewhere for a drink or coffee, walk at the lake--public. I am not just gonna swing by your place or have you to mine before I meet you!

    What can one say about themselves that could be considered appealing to another? Your guess is as good as mine. I could tell you many things about me, what I like, dislike, and how I see the world but you still would not understand anything about me. To really know someone you need to actually take the time to get to know them. I have been off and on this site for a while, I think this site takes to much time and energy but for some reason that is just the way the world works today. People don't meet the old fashion way and even if you do, does that make it better or easier?? Not really, it can be just has hard. So about me.... I have kids and those kids are important to me. My children's happiness comes before all else in my life. I am in school, that too is very important to me and requires a lot of my time. After that and when I have time for me I like to enjoy a movie, read a book, and honestly just sleep. I Love naps :) I enjoy many things in life but again that is all part of getting to know someone. I have had a lot of negative things happen over the past months that have left me hesitant and unsure about the whole dating thing. I do not wish to receive pictures of****or comments about sucking it. I do not want to play the mind games of I like you but I am to busy. I don't need crazy stalkers following me around town and bugging my neighbors. I understand all of this sounds a bit much but hey, people want honesty right!! So hear it is. It has been said that you can tell in just seconds if you want to get to know someone or have an attraction to them. It is also said that after 5 minutes of meeting a person you will know if you want to continue getting to know that person. So as lame as it sounds I think a drink or a cup of coffee is perfectly fine for two people to meet. After that the sky is the limit.

    I have a ton of interests and never enough hours in the day to entertain them all! I've recently completed my MBA and all of a sudden I'm finding myself with a lot more free time...Favourite activities are mostly outdoors; running on the road or trail running with the dog, barbecues on the deck in the summer, snow shoeing in the winter, hiking through leaves in the fall. I also, for some strange reason, seem to enjoy training for marathons and I'll run in a few races this year. I love to cook but also love trying new restaurants or old favourites, I’ll admit to occasionally living off take-out for stretches at a time… But I’m pretty good about being health conscious to support the running habit; I don’t eat much in the way of fast food and will usually turn down anything fried. That said, I don’t think I’ve ever met a samosa I didn’t like… I'd love to meet for coffee or perhaps a pint, drop me a line if you're interested!
