About Me

I've lived at the beach for 3 years now and I love it! I enjoy being social and spending time with friends but I also appreciate a quiet night in watching movies, cooking and drinking wine! I have many interests (as you can see from my interests section) and am always looking to be introduced to new things. I'm a very open and honest person, what you see is what you get when it comes to me. I'm a low maintenance kind of girl and am most comfortable with no make-up, jeans/shorts a tank-top and flip-flops but still like to get dolled up once in a while. I'm divorced and have been single for almost ***years now. I've enjoyed the single life but I'm ready to find someone to share life's adventures with. My ideal partner will also be my best friend so, I do prefer to take the time to get to know a person and let things happen naturally, no pressure and no expectations until we decide we like each other (if I don't feel the chemistry, I lose interest quick). If you're big into food, wine and the outdoors then that's a big bonus!     Its something Ive always seen myself being and having and it all starts with the right man for me that I plan to treat very well when he comes along.I have a strong work ethic but I love to laugh and have fun and relax. Or when a girl does that to her man in public, its really a sad phenomenon that I avoid as very best I can. As I mentioned before, chivalry means a lot to me. So a first date would go along way with me if the guy was very chivalrous ie opening doors, paying for dinner, picking me up at my door and walking me back at the end of the night. That is the one of the very sexiest characteristics a guy can have in my opinion. What girl doesn't want to be treated that way! I look forward to that opportunity with some really awesome man.

    I work at a high school for emotionally disturbed students, and currently am working at the YMCA as a camp counselor for 1st-6th grade. I have two kids ages 7 and 5. So if I had to say that would be my favorite types of music. I enjoy comedy movies and chic flicks of course (what woman doesn't). I like to get outdoors and enjoy the park, feeding the ducks with my kids, shooting hoops, and seeing how far I can throw a Frisbee...in hopes that someones on the other end to catch it, so I don't have to go retrieve it. lol! I also like to lounge around in my jammies with a good movie or show whenever I have the chance. I hate onions, just about every restaurant I have been to thinks I'm allergic!!! :-) our little secret! Someone who strikes a balance in life, interjects humor when appropriate, and knows when it's alright to be serious about things.I sing on the praise team at my church. Church is very important to me and something I would like to share with my partner. I am looking for a good christian guy who has a good head on their shoulders and knows what they want in life.
