About Me

I guess I am on here for many of the same reasons every one else is. I have a great relationship with my family, I'm a daddy's girl that's been replaced by the grand kids, haha!I enjoy an active lifestyle and try to be healthy. I like to run the 5 & 10K races, just do them & give myself something to keep working to improve (though the entry fees for those guys are getting pretty expensive!) working back up to this after more than a month down to shingles ( I thought that was something older people got, not me!)I love camping and backpacking. I get up early on some weekends just to hike around with binoculars and look at birds- for fun. I really like craft beers, good coffee, and trying different foods. I believe you should never stop learning and am taking some grad level classes, working toward a master's in wildlife management. I've moved around alot with my jobs. I do like to see new places. I can enjoy just about any kind of music. gangsta rap doesn't do it for me a whole lot but there are some. I mostly listen to public radio and classic rock, some pop and modern rock and a little country, though alot of it sounds the same or not like country to me... I like bluegrass, jazz, and blues, too.In short, life is good but it's more fun with a good friend and would love to find someone to do things with, especially hiking, backpacking, and adventures in general. Maybe something more can develop from that! A nice, headlamp-; enjoying a blast of the rest of the day! Ok, maybe not the first date. :)Coffee or brunch. A museum visit would be cool.Get tickets and catch a game somewhere

    I am one of those chics that doesn't like a lot of drama and insecurities in a man nothing is sexier to me than someone who knows they can and do have my undivided attention, I am done trying to explain every moment of my day and decision I make to the person I am seeing.     I live life for today. I am hopeful for the future but also don't live in the past. I regret NOTHING in my life. I believe you should treat past events as learning experiences. You can sit and mope about things already done, or you can get off your fanny and turn those times into positives! I would describe myself as smart, honest, caring, affectionate, trustworthy, sincere, downright funny and a die hard romantic!! I would consider myself to be very "low maintenance." I think people deserve to see the REAL you and not be met with 10lbs of Mary Kay!!I am definetely not into drama. Negativity and constant turmoil are such a turn off and waste of time. I do have a large "pet peeve" and it's called judgement. I don't judge anybody and I don't like to be judged. I feel people are who they are and will do what they wanna do. I want someone who is sincere, caring, trustworthy, compassionate and responsible. Humor (especially sarcasm) is a BIG plus in my book!! Life is just too short to not have some fun dangit!I have been through some health issues over the past decade and I truly believe they, however unfortunate, have shaped me into the person I've become today! I am more compassionate, patient and understanding person nowadays. I would also say that I'm pretty mellow. I love doing things but I also don't mind slowing down once in awhile to truly appreciate what each day has to offer.
